apparently a chemical in ganja, one that does not get you high, coats your brain providing the benifits of: protection from free radicals which can cause cancer, and this layer blockes msg damage from occuring. Its almost as if we are supposed to smoke to stay healthy! ha i wish, but interesting none the less

Well even if that is true, I'm pretty sure that that layer around the brain is the one that makes you get dumber...

dumber??? smoking does not make you dumber, if anything it helps you to focus on one or two things without worrying about all the other crap that is going on, i tend to learn better pay more attention ect, in class while high, but this may be because i smoke every chance i get, the dumb thing is just a myth, unless you can prove it causes brain damage..?

I was told that it slows down the electical impulses in your brain, may be crap though. In "this is your brain on dissosociatives" it says that weed helps protect your brain.

Being high during spanish did seem to help me understand it better, but had the reverse effect during my business class.

oh its scientific fact huh, i'd like to see this research?? or have you even seen it, ive looked, found pleanty of research on the benifits of ganja as for the brain damage question all this research points to no, so please enlighten me... about the word "dumber" i've heard hundreds of people who dont touch drugs use this word everyday, so this shows that ganja causes brain damage how???? you know most of the people that talk like that eat bread, therefore by your logic bread causes brain damage... not very logical at all now is it, not to mention the fact that judging someone's intelligence by thier infomal prose on a message board is outright stupid if you ask me...
