how long should i wait before i take my resin and smoke it?
(i only smoke dank btw)

i dunno... i dont even know a good way to get the resin from my glass bowl... sorry nig

If not let it build up until you are!
Or if you bowl is real gooey clen it out and take some weed cut it up fine and mix it with the black ball of goo. It will smoke better that way.

My advice to you is dont try to save it!Ive known too many people who broke their glass bowl trying to scrape it out.

However to clean it really well its easy. Just take some windex and let it soak for about 10-15 min. Then rinse it out with warm but not hot water. Use a Q-tip or pipe cleaner to remove any in tight spaces.

heres what i do. When i don't smoke my resin ever except when i have no pot and i know i wont be able to get ne for at least a couple days. It actually built up this whole summer, ive been scraping nightly for like 7-8 days and been getting high but i think its comming to an end.

Do you know how a simple methanol extraction works? If you are really hard up, soak the bowl in methanol and let it evaporate off. There should be a layer of goo on the bottom of whatever container you use. This is hash oil, and is very potent. It sounds like a lot of work, but it gets alot of shit out for you to smoke.

It's not hash oil. You just extracted bong resin. It's not any more potent than resin, but it would be more productive than just scraping your piece, as you're bound to miss something when your scraping.

One more question. If you only smoke dank, why would you smoke resin? I know people that pretty much only smoke schwag that don't smoke resin.

No! No! No! Resin is an oil-based substance. Which means alcohol is your best solvent to use to remove/clean/scrape. Evaporate the alcohol and you've got your resin for a rainy day. Try it.

i like packing a fat bowl with a huge ball of resin on the top.

hmmm so like when i clean a pipe by soaking it in rubbing alchol, i can let the tub it was in evaporate and smoke that shit

yes, regular (70% alcohol) rubbing alcohol works fine that you can get from the grocery store works fine, and yes resin is worth smoking.

uhm, i use acetone, it seems to be a lot better than any type of alcohol for making hash oil, and i think it will work great for getting the resin out. and it evaporates fast.

Good god, people! Methanol? Acetone?? Sure we're looking to evaporate the solvent and leave the resin (residue would be a more appropriate term) behind, but some of the solvent will remain.
Remember: never smoke something you wouldn't feel safe eating or drinking!

The residue extractor of choice is 190 proof Ethanol, better known as "Everclear", "Clear Spring," PGA, Grain Alcohol, etc. Properly made moonshine will of course work, as well.

A little gentle agitation an soft scraping with a fine wire will clean even most glass pipes effectively.

As an aside, I find a thin wire of spring-grade steel works well for snaking around in complex but fragile glass pieces without going to the length of full-blown solvent removal. It's a little tedious but it works.

ive used acetone a million times and never had any harmfull affects. also, acetone is very flamable, however hash oil made out of it is not. thus enough was gone.

I like to use either acetone or 99% isopropyl.

Excuse me Mister "I don't smoke anything I can't eat/ingest." Is it not true solvents evaporate?! Also, scraping those little nook&crannies is a fruitless endevor since you get like a matcheads' worth of resin. What we potheads who have been down that road one time too many employ a little solvent extract so as to save our selves from destroying our pipes/bongs etc.as well as it is SOOOOO much quicker and easier to do and no you are wrong so wrong in your professing that our means are hazardous to our health.
