Default using an old prescription

This guy I know has recently gotten a script filled after going to a walk-in emergency type med facility. He had legit pain and took his script to the pharmacy and picked-up his 15 Vicodins. After enjoying himself that evening, and beating the pain, he was dissapointed to find there were no refills available on the label. He was thinking that if he had copied off the script BEFORE he went to have it filled, he may have been able to alter it and use it again or possibly use it thru some online pharmacy that mails meds. Some of them ask for a prescription to be faxed he said. This one could have been re-arranged a bit and faxed in for a refill couldn't it?

prescriptions are even easier than that as many doctors just jot it down on their paper, i suggest next time the doctor leaves you alone steal a pad of his stationary then look at how he filled out an old prescription and write yourself one when you're feeling like you need some good meds.

Hey-
This relates to a question i had. I have an old script for adderall 20s from 12-10-01. i never got it filled cause i got my medical card taken away and couldn't afford the pills myself. i now know someone who will buy some of them off me to cover the price. i was thinking of changeing the 01 to 02, which would be easy, and filling it. BUT i wonder if where it's a class III drug they'd send a copy of the script to the dr.'s office or anything? what are the usual procedures? If anyone has real answers please let me know- btw, I do not think stealing a Dr's pad is a good idea because i'm sure theres some precation taken agaisnt that like maybe they actually COUNT them or he would notice and report it stolen!
