DXM Post Drug Hallucinations
I've done DXM 6 times in a two month peroid. I've also done Dramamine twice (the first time i fell asleep). And now about a month later im seeing hallucinations in the dark, like friends faces morphing, and mminor hallucinations. How long will it take to get out of my system, is my brain now altered, has any one had this.
P>S> Im thinking its caused by the DXM because the hallucinations are not of the dramamine sort.

Well, once I started using drugs similar things happened to me. I ended up in a psychiatric hospital. Congratulations. You may be crazy.

Re: DXM Post Drug Hallucinations
Drugs don't make you crazy... They just make it worse.

Re: DXM Post Drug Hallucinations
Psychoactive substances have the power to alter your perceptions. Permanently. Ask someone who's tripped on acid if everything looks like it did before he started...

Re: DXM Post Drug Hallucinations
For quite a while after trying DXM i've felt a little different, no hallucinations, but then again I am not the type of person to hallucinate easily, but it has faded away. I didn't do it a bunch of times like you did though, but I know a kid that did and he reported feeling sort of strange but it wearing off too. But here in salem some kids have been selling shrooms cheap, so I haven't bothered with DXM again...

Re: DXM Post Drug Hallucinations
yeah, thatll happen, at least your just having hallucinations in the dark. my perception beens altered. i ran 3 red lights in one day, without having a clue i was doing so. Dangerous stuff. i also had to pick my friend up yesterday from a bus stop. i drove straight past him without seeing him and he said he was waving his arms around and everything!
but having had shrooms, acid and dxm and peyote in the last 2 months, i cant put my finger on which is causing this shit. more than likely its all of em.
but, basically, dont worry, your not alone.

Re: DXM Post Drug Hallucinations
sorry, forgot to answer your main question. there is a chance that itll be kind of permnanent, but not likely, quite often continuos use of substances causes relapses. my friends face was morphing in front of me after smoking a couple of bowls once and i hadnt had hallucinogens in a while. so maybe if you keep your head straight it might help. might. in the mean time just enjoy it.

Re: DXM Post Drug Hallucinations
Has anyone noticed themselves switching words around when talking for quite a while afterwards? I really hope that wears off too...

Re: DXM Post Drug Hallucinations
I've noticed that now sometimes I try to talk faster then I can think, which is weird because I consider myself a "smart" person. I just stutter a few words and lose my train of thought for a second sometimes. Damn loveable drugs....

Re: DXM Post Drug Hallucinations
HPPD= Halucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder Learn it love it. Ive had this strange disorder for for two years now caused by our friends datura, lsd-25 and dxm . For the most part its a pain in the ass and theres no cure. If you dont mind slight color variation , ripple effects , floaters , trails etc. without warning then keep tripping. I'd really reccomend not taking dxm more than 30 times as it aggravates/causes HPPD and/or Olneys lesions. Research what your putting in your fucking body . Im not condemning drugs in any manner. Its just a little pointless to even mention something that noone can change and you brought upon yourself. Oh yeah the stuttering thing (switching words) Im not sure if that goes away or not. For me it hasnt yet. Man does a fat bowl of nugs make it worse though.
