I was arrested for something totally unrelated to drugs, and am on probation. The probation officer wants to do random drug tests. I know I would fail, because I smoke weed almost every day. Drug tests are not in the terms of probation, can they do this legally, and if I fail, what exactly can they do about it?

dude its perfectly legal..it sucks ass but they can do it, the fact of the matter is how and when u can smoke weed to pass... if ur a juvinile it sux more...cause any day they can just coem to ur house and tell u tp piss in a cup for them... and after that they wont come for another month or so... so smoke right after...and then get shit to clean out ur system once a month... also if u were arrested for a non-drug crime..they wont piss test u as much as if u were arrested for drugs...if ur an adult load up on ready clean... smoke as much as u wont and right before u go to get tested drink it. hope this was helpful!

Actually what i'm going to do is if they sow up at my house, i'll ask for a search warrant, not invite them in, tell them to go talk to my lawyer, and just plain refuse to piss in the cup until i've talked to a lawyer.
