Default Something that pisses me off here

OK, its most likely that none of you know me, but i've been lurking here for quite a while, so i feel i know some of you, or at least who you pretend to be here, pretty well.
Something that's been pissing me off for quite some time is that whenever anyone asks to be hooked up or mailed drugs for some reason, everyone jumps in and calls them pathetic, says they're a cop or narc or whatever.
what i don't understand is how asking to be hooked up through the internet is any different from asking a friend to buy for you, or ringing you dealer on the phone. why is it that when someone asks in the forum they are desperate? this is a forum dedicated to drugs, i don't see how its pathetic to ask for drugs, but totally acceptable to tell everyone about the time they were so smashed they couldn't get up to go to the bathroom. i don't have a problem with those 'i was so smashed' stories, they're amusing to read, keep them coming.
and as for the 'piss off, cop' attitude, as if a cop is going to bother trying to trick someone into selling them a few grams of weed, they most probably don't give a shit about anything except their pay. Anyway, if you did mail anything and it was a cop you were mailing it to, they aren't going to know where you mailed it from, or who you are. and even if you gave an address for payment or something, they couldn't prove it wasn't someone setting you up or something.
what a lot of people here don't seem to understand is that not everyone has an easy time getting decent drugs, and in some cases, such as mine, weed is like the only thing available. i mean, i'd love to try acid or speed, but because of my isolation due to where i live i can't.
what i am trying to say is that if you don't want to help people who can't get hooked up then don't, but don't flame them, and don't flame me either for writing this. i just think it had to be said. maybe it already has been said, i don't know, i'm not here all the time.
i think i'll go now...

No, i kinda agree. It would be nice to get a hook up through here, or just to be able to ask friends on the board for a favour. Especially as there's heaps of guys from Australia that would, and could hook me up with the goodies.

However, if a newbie joins the board with the initial question, "yo, i need some weed", it's fucking annoying. This site isn't for desperados who need some fuckin skunk. And if people aren't going to contribute to the site (constructively) in some way, it gets everyone else uotight, due to the overall poor quality. You must notice it, when there's an influx of newbies, the site falls to shit for a few days or weeks...people flooding it with crap. Not cool.

But hey, nothing's stopping totse members emailing each other if they really want a hook up that desperately. Whatever's cool..

I've been hooked up and hooked others up with various LEGAL (of course) interesting things through this site, but i wouldnt ever do it by posting a topic about it. There are other ways to do things that dont let everyone on the board know about it.

right, ive traded various sources for legal substances with some ppl on this site and been fine about it. i created a thread about not creating 'i need a hook' threads because it is primarily newbies and youngsters looking for someone to send them some shit. post for a while so that ppl can get an idea of who you are and what youre into and whether or not youre cool to them. and of course, nothing illegal, as it threatens the boards existance. if the law thought that &totse was supporting illegal activities that extend beyond the spread of information they would shut it down quite quickly.

Well, in case you've never heard, in this or any other kind of risky proposition, the first rule is: Know who you are dealing with.

When asking a friend to hook you up you usually know this friend enough to be pretty sure that they won't turn you in.

Like wise with a dealer: Here, you already know that they deal, so are unlikely to turn you in.

In the internet, you do not know who it is you are conversing with. Not only that, but it is out there for the world to read. You wouldn't stand on a soapbox with a megaphone and call out to a freind, asking to be hooked up, would you? It's kinda the same thing asking on the internet.

You do have a valid point, but this board isn't about the trafficing of illegal substances, it's about spreading helpfull information about substances. So before you go bitching about how everyone tells people to fuck off, think about shit. Would you post to alt.drugs with the topic "Can anyone hook me up?", and expect not to get flamed?

Yes the police can trace your ip and find out who you are if they try to set you up and fuck you over (entrapment if they keep on asking when your saying no) and unless you wear gloves and use a sponge to moisten the envelope they can just run it through a forensics lab and get your D.N.A any way from the saliva, If you can't find a dealer then thats too bad for you, if you keep looking and asking around then you'll find one eventually.

Everyone does know how fucked everyone would be if JC or enigma got tricked into making one a mod.

Personally I think illegal substances and related activities have no place being traded on this board, the last thing I'd want would be to have this place shut down. The feds would sooner shut the place down than bust individuals I'd bet. However for legal goodies it's fair game, 'cept maybe certain rarities (wink wink) that should be kept to e-mail rather than open forum posting.

Speaking of rarities, If anyone knows of any current sources considering that the popular ones have been shut down or has any experimental compounds that they'd like to get rid of I'm in the market.

Exactly trypt if they want to talk about illeagle narcotics then they can do so by email; I wouldn't want to see Totse shut down because of some little uneducated kewl starts asking questions about the main injecting places for heroin and where they can buy some.

aussiefreak,

You would be surprised. From a envelope or package and all the clues it contains about it's origins and sender.

Forgetting the obvious "fingerprints" let's consider.

-Matching type of envelope or package to simular ones found in residence, sold to what stores and in what area?
-If tape was used to seal the package or envelope that can offer some clues.
-If you licked the envelope DNA might be obtainable, if not blood type and gender.
-Fibers from clothing that may have came in contact with adhensive sealer.
-Handwritting or printer to address the envelope can be later used in verification process.
-Stamp or Post Meter used can reveal some useful info.

IP address traces you back to you service provider who then hands over account information to LE.

You said you live out in the middle of no where. So maybe production is a answer to your problem. You could also form a tight crew and get the local kids hooked on your product and then push it on the streets. Take control of the trade trade in your town (if one even exists).

Some people realise how much evidence is left behind from things like letters.........
aussiefreak you need to be more careful when it comes to covering up tracks.

And maybe there are drugs floating around in your town and you just havn't met the right people.

i'm not saying the cops don't have the technology to find out who sent the package, i don't know what they can do - but they often could never find out who was sending anthrax around.

what i'm saying is that they aren't going to bother probably, unless your mailing like kilos of H.

Like Aussie, i've been lurking in this forum for quite some time. Usually i'm in Gearheads (sup trypt). I agree with you all, If I came in here asking to be hooked up, even though i'm not a NEW newbie, so to speak, none of you know me, and you'd basically tell me to fuck off. because like Metaphysicist said, you really dont know who everyone in here Really is. I'm sure a few cops are on this board. not Asshole cops, but cops that are somewhat eh.. tweaked, not quite Crooked.

kronikus, I fucking fully agree. Hooking-up or the need to is a personal problem not a public problem! We can post, type, express, say anything we desire and not fear reprucussions from it. Information is free and non-regulated no matter what the content. You can even say you did this or did that and not worry about it coming against you in a court of law. It's hearsay plain and simple. Posting a picture of what you did or do is different. But we're not doing that here. But asking for dope via a place or any place like this is inappropriate and unconcerning to all of us who are members here. Exchanging ideas, questions, information is appropriate and concerning to the membership. If you need/want dope go to the High Times chatroom and announce it there. Or even post it in the "Bitch&Moan" section here. But as far as the paranoia it presents. I gusee only America has Nazi Stormtroopers for drugcontrol. But we do and need not forget that! To us it comes naturally to discourage such a plea(I need dope). But we also have rights that can't be violated as well. So we can not show you by picture or video-feed on how to cook dope(meth,E,etc.) but we can tell you via writing it. And not suffer any consequences from it. Look at Uncle Fester. They know who he is yet his book sells 15,000 to 20,000 copies a year. Why? Freedom of the press. Which orginally applied not to the media rather the printing press. And still and always will. Welcome to the "Information Age"! And the Technicalogical Revolution.......It is now upon us.
