Better Living Through Chemistry Discussions of any and all sorts of mind-warping chemicals, pills, booze, mind machines, trippy stuff, making beer, current street prices, importing pharmaceuticals, smart drugs, nutrients, herbs, and altered states. Default San Pedro Cactus?

if i buy a trichoserus pachanoi cactus at Lowes, is it going to have any effect or do they grow them to not have mescaline when they sell them through big stores like that?

I would be amazed if those guys had a San Pedro....Did you see one there?

If you've found that cacti, then it has mesc in it. They can't fuck with that.

I think your thinking of Morning glory seeds..they sometimes spray them with chemicals to deter consumption.

No, i really dont think he was thinking of morning glory seeds.

I think he was thinking of buying a Peruvian torch cactus and using it as a natural mescaline source and was just wondering if the chemistry of the natural alkaloids in it had been adulterated by the chain Lowe's or any other chain store carry Peruvian Torch cactuses. I don't see how he would have gotten that confused with something being sprayed on it since the outside of the cactus is not used anyway... thank you for your input; better luck next time.

And no, they shouldn't have adulterated the chemistry of the mescaline and other tryptamines in the cactus.
