I have trouble concentrating on schoolwork both at home and at school...i can work really well for about 10 minutes but after that i just cant do it!
i need to have a break and after that i dont erally feel like continuing and when i do continue my concentration only lasts for about ten mins again adn if i force myself to do more my mind wanders and it makes i really hard.
I'm in my final year at school and i want to do well..so is there some kind of drug i can get to help me to concentrate!?

Tell your doctor and specifically ask for a prescription for speed, I mean, adderall, dexedrine, or ritalin.

I live in australia do you know if those drugs are available here?
and also what do i say to the doctor?
just tell him i have trouble concentrating?

I thought you had to go to a shrink for that. If your in the US it seems to be pretty easy to get a script for anyof those if you just go to the right doctor. Just explain to them the symtoms described especially how even when your trying your hardest to concentrate youll find that its been like 5 mins and youv just totally missed everything and just been letting your mind wander around thinkin about stuff when you didnt mean to thats what happens to me I think I need a script myself but Im gonna go score some first and try them to see if they actually help before I try to get a script for them.

How about taking it a little differently: change the way you work: get a different chair, don your sleepers on and most important of all set yourself goals like: ok if i Do this math exercise then i'll go and do myself a nice cup of mint tea(great high, excellent for concentration, tonus, and ...thirst, no kidding.Recipe: boil water, in a tea pot pour a small coffeee spoon of blackpowder tea(it's a black chines tea brand) then rinse it(yea yea, arabs say one has to rinse and wash the tea...)then add the mint leafs hen about 7 pieces of sugar per 1/2 liter, infuse, serve hot in tiny glasses, drink w/ big slurps no kidding it's a great relaxant, the mint speeds you up a bit as well as the sugar, the tea keeps you awake by constant back and forth to the toilets...
My point in this post is know yourself, know your body and mind, a little bit of breathing exercices might do you well as well before working sessions. On my side I think it's a little worrying to give a teenager an amphetamine to get concentration... "ooooh my poor kid plus u can't sleep, here have a Xanax..."

yea and lemme tack modafinil on the end of that. its not what i suggest, its how bad you come off as being. your doc will determine severity and prescribe. maybe mention a friend was on ______ and it helped a lot. i dunno, worked for me to go from adderral to concerta, and concerta to dexedrine.

i didnt advise to go in and say anything. i advised to play off add. in sumblimer77's post 'what should i look for' i post all the brand names off the medications for those i listed in treatment- methylphenidate hcl, mixed amphetamine salts, dextro amphetamine sulfate, and i think i did here too, i forget.

don't listen to that hick, it doesnt make you anti-social, it makes you the complete opposite. put it this way, it is like mild mdma(not mda) without any psychadelic edge, sociability, speediness, etc.. people are WAY more social on speed, thats why it is a club drug more so than a non-club drug. however, it is possible to become TOO social and get high-strung and shit.. but that is not when you are tweaking, that is habitual use when you no longer hit a peak and just are constantly on it.

so adderal is good and it has mild mdma in it and i can get it by faking add...is that right?

partially except the part about literally having mdma in it. when on it i said it provides similar effects like a small dosage of mdma or a medium dosage without any psychadelic effects. just speedy shit, plain and simple amphetamine salts.
