Ok my friends dad had a sinus iinfection the otherday and we dipped a cig n the hydrocodiene he had and got a decent buzz on it and then once i got home i busted out the myphetane cough syrup i had and tryed it once it dryed and it was just like the one dipped in codiene but i thought it was a lil stronger and i guess is there any health risk with smoking cigs dipped in cough syrup?

what is this hydrocodeine you speak of?
Is it similar to hydrocodone?

Im going to assume the first cough syrup was prescribed liquid codein and other was over the counter with dxm in it? kinda small dose though aint it one cig? and OF COURSE THERES HEALTH RISKS!!!! The ciggaret probably being the worst of them actually

don't worry.
think about it: the syrup is supposed to work with your lungs and that's where it's going...except with snout smoke.
if you can smoke a normal snout, then i don't suppose a bit of cough syrup will hurt you that much.
just don't do it too often!

first of all hydrocodone does not come in syrups and is not prescribed for sinus infections dood, its a pain killer. you had codeine phosphate syrup.

second, the bp of codeine phosphate is rather high so the temp of a cig probably would not burn all the codeine phos meaning you aren't getting the 'high' you could be getting from drying the codeine out of the syrup and using it with a higher temp flame, insufflation, oral, intravenous, intramuscular, etc..

so basically the low temp of a smoldering cig just wastes most of the codeine, ultimately leaving it in there.
