payote (sp?)
i have heard that these flowers are found in the dessert regions as a part of cacti and if the nectar is removed from the flower, you can drink it and get a nice high.
can anyone help me out a bit on clearing this subject up?

Re: payote (sp?)
peyote is perfectly legal here in canada.
to bad I would have to grow indoors and it would take 2-4 years to get it up to hallucinegenic ripeness.

Re: payote (sp?)
peyote is illegal in the states to posses. san pedro however, is not. you don't necassaraly need the flowers, more so the actual cacti's dried plant matter. You can go about drying out a cactus yourself or by a dead one. Then just go from there... Eat the plant straight (oh god how aweful)or Mix it in with a liquid or food and drink and ingest or Do a basic alkaloid extraction with kitchen chemistry or Go all out and do a full on distillation to get pure mescaline Have fun dude, and dont have too much, it's the strongest kind of psychoactive cacti.

Re: payote (sp?)
Trichocereus bridgesii cuzcoensis fulvinanus pachanoi (San Pedro) peruvianus (Peruvian Torch) macrogonus taquimbalensis terscheckii (Cordon Grande) validus werdermannianus Check this shit out for mostly peyote faqs along with other mostly tribal cacti profiles, all psychoactivce including alkaloid evaluations- http://www.erowid.org/plants/peyote/peyote_cactus_guide.shtml Most people prefer Peyote(where legal or where not and available ),San Pedros, and peruvian torches.
