well ive never gotten high off smokin ditch weed or wild weed as you will call it but then again ive never really experimented too much. i always thought that when you make canna butter that you can add as much weed as you want so if you use alot of ditch weed in a little amount of butter you should in theory get high because the thc goes into the butter.

yea zao, its real- since weed is an annual, meaning it needs constant ideal weather to survive because it dies yearly so it isnt weed in ohio. In the south its possible. Someone would have had to plant it, its nearly impossible the conditions helped the plant survive for 6 years, the probability is way too low. Although there is another kind that is not indica, nor sativa that was developed synthetically by a horniculturalist in the past few years, for ideal growth in colder enviornments, but its thc yeild is much lower that sativa or indica. This seems like much more of a possibility since the plant was unattended, but then again- you are 12 and probably cant identify a clitoris.

the synthetic as you call it slpwlkr has been crossbreeded with several strains of subtropical plants so it has the ability to survive in the cold but when the sun is out and it's hot the plant thrives and produces a THC yeild only a little less than that of the subtropical strain it was crossbreeded with.

I would vaporize the ditch shit but it was probably planted by a grower. and trust me if it was planted you don't want to be there when the grower comes back because if me and my friends came back while you where there we would kick the shit out of you and transplant our plants.

i agree with othium- vaporize it. if you are gonna use the plant cut the entire plant around the base and pot it, roots and all- and get the fuck out, because chances are it isnt wild at all. yea rc, i know the thc is lower, but i didnt know it was a crossbread with subtropical plants. the yeild of the plant in whole is lower, hot out or not though- just like sativa's is generally less than indica in a controlled experiment.

seatbelts are for people afraid to die? nevermind, you wont be driving for another 5 or 6 years. roadtraffic cant be too dangerous in ohio anyway. "i swear slpwlkr, i know what a clit is, i could point one out, i really could"

its probaly nothing special, if the plant pollenates the year before it will seed and grow again the next year. it grows all over the place up here in mn. don't try to dig it up to transplant it every time i've ever tried digging up weed to replant it somewhere else it always dies. zao are the leaves short and fat or long and skinny?

long and skinny anyway slpwalker you don't have to drive to where a seatbelt and you must have great intuition you knew what i was thinking as soon as i read that post about clits.

What the fuck. Do you not know how the world works or something? A lot of the plants growing up north are annuals. If they drop seeds in the fall, then there will be new plants in the spring. Wild weed could easily survive like this. You really are as dumb as I think, aren't you.

gourangachild why don't you shut up, you don't know half the shit slpwlkr knows.

long and skinny, hmmm I think at least most of the synthetically produced strains are crossbreeded with sativas but they look inica because indica tend to grow better in cold places. the fat leaf takes in the suns light and heat better than that of the skinny leaf.

and most sativas can't survive in the cold, I smell bullshit.

well in minnesota all i ever find growing in the wild is salvias. but they're all just low grade ditch weed. zao i would kill all of the males and wait till september to harvest them so they atleast have buds. also gourangachild is right when the plants pollenate the female produces seed and they will grow the next year.

g.child- he said the area hasn't been touched by humans in 5 years, which would make it a little hard to drop seeds there in the PREVIOUS COLD SEASON and wait for them to grow in the warming months. Indica and Sativa could not survive 5 years of Ohio late falls, winters, and early springs; and the plant is sure as fuck not that third kind of semi-synthetic crossbreed cannabis that can withstand cold weather, because no one would throw those seeds away, and it wasn't even invented then. Now don't we feel a bit salty?

R.C- I smell it too.

What I would do- Take a mail crate and fill it with top soil 3/4 the way up. Cut all the plants out, completely uprooting them and put them in the crate. Put a little more top soil over the space between the plants so its even. Then, moisten the soil slightly and take it to a safe, sunny place where i could sit down for a while... Identify all the males and females and seperate them. Re-plant them on a high, sunny part of a stream bank- but far enough away that if there were a huge storm, they wouldn't die from a flood. Because of insects and other wildlife i'd probably seperate the females and males by putting them on opposite, diagonal places on the stream. Or on the same side and very, very far apart(like 100 ft, cause im paranoid). I dunno i might pull an occasional bud off the female plant or a few leaves off the male plant(for hash oil) but i'd let them go to full maturity until the begging of the fall. Then i'd cut them all down, since they are ditch shit anyway and outside plants. Pick all the buds off of the females and take my males and the now budless female and make a shitload of hash oil. Depending on demand, preferance and plant yeild, i might make some hash too if there was an abundance(well not abundance, but decent amount of buds) from the females.

I never said that a human dropped seeds there the year before. Someone could've dropped the seeds there decades ago, and they could easily still be thriving there. The plants themselves would be dropping their own seeds every fall.

yes once again gourangachild is right. if the plants pallenate they produce seeds, in the fall the seeds would fall to the ground. then in the spring the seeds would germinate and start to grow. this process would repeat every year as long as there was a male and a female plant.

unless it was an incredibly large amount of seeds it WOULD NOT be thriving now. Ohio's cold seasons would wipe out the plant eventually (most likely quickly) since marijuana is not the easiest plant to grow(but not extremely hard either)
