Re: smokeing materials
Hate to tell yah this man but copper is FUCKING BAD TO SMOKE FROM!!!!!! Right up there with tinfoil sorry man it releases harmfull fumes I guess when it gets nice and hot. It is the easiest thing to find to make a chill piece from but DONT USE IT cept mabye once in a long while if your in desprate need and dont give a fuck. Go score yourself a small glass piece or stainless pipe. Or get a nice BRASS bowl I dont think thats too bad 4 you if it hasnt started to oxidise but Im none to sure heard one report brass was bad for you but none others heard innumerable on copper and tinfoil.

Re: smokeing materials
that wasn't a copper screen you got there smartguy. if you get your shit from a headshop, there's a 99% chance if it's goldish, you're getting brass, or at least brass plated/alloy. when copper oxidises, like when you heat it, it will turn green and give off a poisonous gas. Have fun smoking it with your "killer piece". personally i like to make my own glass pieces, but you probably wouldn't wanna take time to learn that. Just take off the part that gets hot and replace it with a chrome or brass piece from home depot or another hardware store like ace or something. Their cheap and you can find nicely shaped bowlheads there which is about all that you'd need to replace in the entire bowl, because the rest shouldn't oxidase unless you light it with a blowtorch or it's really small and the whole thing heats up.
