Ok, i stockpile all kinds of chems that i've distilled as well as old prescriptions of mine and my familys and i ran across a bottle of benztropine mesylate while i was counting and labling my pharms a few days ago. i had marked cogentin on the bottle a while ago it seems, i guess to know what the standard brand name was. so yesterday i finally decided to find out if this stuff had any positive recreational uses and i tried to research it but i haven't been able to pull up any strong info on it at all other than it is an antiparkinsonnian agent. i some indirect info that made it sound as if it is related to atropine so as derived from belladonna, but that really isnt enough for me to feel safe taking it, because a few years ago i was put into a really bad state from a combination of medications but i dont know what they were. i believe it was sinequan(doxepin) and benztropine mesylate but i dont know. all i know is i was near a coma and that the two medications cause severe interactions when takin together in clinical studies, so i wouldnt be suprised.
the only other similar medications with any recreationally abused psychoactive drugs related to benztropine in a search i did were diphenhydramine(benadryl), which is essentially datura concentrate when looking at it from a psychotropic potential point of view. if that is so that, datura being relate to belladonna, the source of atropine would make me correct.

so anyone know anything about benztropine(cogentin, benztrop mes)? anyone had any experiences with it?

ok- benztropine IS diphenhydramine and atropine according to a dictonary of pharmaceutical medacine my group therapist had.
