Re: can crank be rocked
Absolutely just do exactly as follows:
Place your crank in a cradle or rockin chair.
Gently apply a side to side motion, the crank is now rocking.
After a few minutes cease moving the cradle or chair.
Your crank has now been sucessfully rocked.

Re: can crank be rocked
The problem is 'rock' or 'crack' cocaine is a freebase.
So if you cross your logic you'll wind up with the wrong form of meth.
I'm not sure what he's asking... is it:
Can you make freebase meth
or
Can you make big crystals of meth HCl
For whatever it's worth....
I once heard that some people put the HCl in an oven bag and toss it into a pot of boiling water to melt the stuff down and then let it cool into a giant boulder.
How true it is, I dunno.

Re: can crank be rocked
oo- oo Dyler, I asked earlier about that rumor: its what they call around my town as re-rocking, I think were talking about the same thing- never seen them do it before but I used to buy a lot of that stuff. They'd mix in really good stuff with poor stuff and somehow get the two to stick together- its pretty neat looking but the basic end product sucks.

Re: can crank be rocked
A old friend of mine told me they rock their crank, i assume giant boulders of crystals, i kinda wanted to be able to sell it as like 10$ rocks 20$ rocks 50$ rock 100$ rocks, i guess its not as common as i assumed,

Re: can crank be rocked
years ago when I was close to a cook- we only got rocked crank from them. Big huge boulders. One of the guys used to bang his on his dashboard really hard and it wouldnt even make a dent in the rock. When you cut peices off they would shoot accross the room. Its seems most people on this board have only seen powder form.? Its too easy to mix cut with powder so you never know how much actual cr you were getting. The color was always a clear red- if that matters. Oh- the good ole days.....

Re: can crank be rocked
Freebase can be "frozen" into a carbonate by adding dry ice.

Re: can crank be rocked
It was my understanding that organic carbonates are formed between carbonic acid and alcohols and exist in the form of esters.
I'm unaware of any situation where carbon dioxide forms a carbonate with an organic molecule that doesn't contain an alcohol moiety, especially in the absence of water.
Would you please elaborate on your carbonation technique?

Re: can crank be rocked
That is interesting. You appear to be right that organic carbonates are always esters. I have not done this myself, but word on the street has been that this was how to produce the carbonate. I have held the product of this procedure in my hand many times and always assumed that's what it was. So the question is: if it is not a carbonate then what the hell is it? quote: I'm unaware of any situation where carbon dioxide forms a carbonate with an organic molecule that doesn't contain an alcohol moiety, especially in the absence of water.
Carbon dioxide in water, as you know, is carbonic acid, but I have just read one definition that states carbonates are derived from carbonic acid OR carbon dioxide. It doesn't go into detail so I will have to dig further. Since it mentions carbon dioxide separately it is inferred (at least by this definition) that it does NOT have to first be disolved into water to form carbonic acid, but can be done directly with CO2. Perhaps the CO2 is reacting with unreduced ephedrine instead?

Re: can crank be rocked
the "rocking" you refer to is done simply by adding water till the product is a paste, heating (stove or microwave) to melting, and allowing to cool.
It is no indication of purity, as the cut is added BEFORE rocking. It is simply a way for dealers to unitize (count) their product.
Purity can be tested by comparing the physical properties to that of the pure substance.
With no equipment for testing, a burn test can tell volumes about the product. However, for this to be effective, you must have a pure product as a reference sample.
