Does anyone know anywhere in the US I can purchase nitrous over the counter,(more like under) and I mean food/medical grade, not whippets, we all know where to get those. Ive got a few large tanks now that are emptied but Im more interested in getting a ten pound tank filled. The only stuff that Ive been able to find is at High performance shops but they put a very high consentration of sulfur in the stuff they sell. Ive always been told that I need some sort of license to buy the stuff, is this true?

Lye can be obatined almost anywhere. Look for Red-Devil Lye in grocery stores and the like

Paintball supply stores have NO2?

usually paintball guns use co2 But there are places that use n2o.. Just wondering if you can even get your own tank filled? and if you can let me know so i can try.. sounds like a good ida if it works.. the only problem is that they will see that the tank looks nothing like the ones used to fill paintball guns.. you think they will still fill? in ohio its hard to get because you need to be 21 instead of 18 to buy it.

Yea you get your own tank filled. I don't they'd ley you fill a non-paintball tank. But a 14 oz tank only costs like 30 bucks.

I use CO2, but others use NO2 for some reason. I really don't think it matters. (for paintball)

And it is possible to make the paintball tanks usebal to breath n2o?? hey if u know how post it.... my paintball gun is cheap it uses them co2 cartriges..

Ive got a ten pound tank that they use for racing- Im gonna run to Shucks this weekend to fill it then Im gonna try the filtration design Clean suggested. Shucks charges about 1.49 lb for n2o. I hope it filters the sulfur enough not to make me sick. Ill let everyone know how it goes.... viva la resistance!

For your gun, it would be easier to but an adapter, used to use the 12 gram tanks. You put a baloon on threads and twist it on. You've got a baloon of nitro.

Unfortunatley If you want to get a tank of medical grade N2O you have to know somebody that either has a licence...not too toufgh but still not to easy ...or you have to be ready to look in your yello pages...under dentist and you will see some ads that say they use nitrus....yea...pay them a visit and ummn....help them out with an extra tank...exept they have big tanks....I say try to get it with out stealing ask arround your group of friends to see if anybody knows where or how to get them filled with good..nitrus...be carefull with how much nitrus you do though it puts holes in your brain if used execivly even if it is not used in excess it does some dammage...kinda like the last time I did it was last new years or somewhere arround there and I got my 250lb tank filled and I only took two balloons...but oh well do you you want ....

since we are on the subject of nitrous.. Why does my state have to be gay and only let people 21 and over buy n2o.. i mean it says on the box, must be 18 to buy (21 in ohio)...

Do you think that if people actually voted on something like this they would even find that constitutional? isnt America great- the people around here voted down a proposal to build a new stadium but they went ahead and built it anyways and the people are getting taxed.
