o, so here's my problem, i want a girlfriend really bad, i havent had one in like a year and a half and it makes me depressed. don't get me wrong, i can get girls, i have been close to relationships in the last year and a half but then i notice its not gonna work for long and i let it all go. i think i am just to picky and i am searching for the perfect beautiful girl that i cant find, i dont know what to do. any suggestions on what i should do?

you havent had a girlfriend in a year in a half that must suck. I haven't had a girlfriend or a friend who was a girl in 18 years.

Hi, Mr. Extacy/"Perfect Girl Seeker": I know a guy just like you....he said the same thing!! Actually, I don't KNOW him......I KNEW him. That's 'cause he just died........He said the same thing you are saying.....until he died at age 80!!! (hee hee). DUH!! There are no "PERFECT" girls out there. They all have some imperfection or another (JUST LIKE YOU DO). So you should just get as close to as many of them as you can---sometime between now and your 80th birthday-- and enjoy each one....imperfections and all!! Love, Venus.

You have to realize that the only "perfect person" is your self, try to look through other peoples eyes... be more open minded to the fact that your looking for someone just like you.

i am in his boat. but, however i am willing to put up with minor inperfections. i admit my standards are way to high for me but i can not help it. but hey, i recently lowered my standards and it's great, just try to take a deep think.

If you're going to be picky you may as well get ready for a long hile. If you realize everyone has problems and swallow the bullet you'll be happier sooner

Note: Full open-mindedness is always best. This is not even a suggested, much less perfect, solution. It's just a start.

If you're always finding some small flaws, and you're having trouble breaking the habit, you could try considering the things that are most important to you. Make it a limited amount, maybe two or three things, preferably nothing too specific (ie. "smart" is good, "rocket scientist" is probably not). Shoot for girls who at least fit those things. It's possible you won't like her in any other way, and it ends, but at least you're not just sitting at home moping about not having a girlfriend.

thank you for all the suggestions, that is what i needed to hear. i dont have high standards really i dont think, which wont be hard to change, i will just go towards girls with an open minded attitude, and grow into getting used to all the small things
