Ok so my girlfreind(well we werent actually going out but we both knew how much we liked eachother and we saw each other alot so it was just the same)seems to have lost interrest in me and likes my best freind. What do i do? Do i give her more attention to let her know im still interessted etc or do i stop giving her any attentin. Which is more likely to work? Some female input here would be appreciated too.

Let her know you mean business. Yes, pay attention to her. Pay lots of attention to her. Let her know how you feel etc etc etc. If she gives you the flick, piss in her letterbox.

shit...if i found out my girl or ex started liking someone else id fukin forget her...id try to forget her and erase any thought of her. Well I went out with this girl for 3 months then we got into a fight, broke up for 2 weeks and she went out with another guy...that made me furious so i just tried to forget about her...then a week into the relationship she told her friends she missed me alot...and that she never liked the guy she was goin out with. thorugh out the week she kept trying to talk to me, so i guess we got back together...been a month after we got back together..its all good...but dont you think how your ex or girl likes someone else and could hurt you in the future? doesnt it hurt you that she likes other guys then u...i dont know maybe im too sensitive...but i would try to forget about her...

pay attention to her but don't go to the point where it is annoying. and don't ask a lot of questions or repeatly..

my xgf is tryin to get back with me for the last two weeks.. evervy fuckin day i get the same question "is anything happening between us?" and since i lost interest and managed to get over her pretty quickly....(meanin' i dont like her more than a friend anymore) i say.. "i dono (cuz i really don't) but i think its more of a nothin is gonna happen..." than she asks "cant we just try one more time?" and me "i dont c why, it's not gonna work.." (we've gone out 3 times already in the last like 4-5 months).. and i've gone just insane with these questions.. so dont ask them!

i agree with xdh2.. but i wouldnt totally forget her.. just give her space and then find a girl and see how her reaction is to that..

Well its that when i imagine my ex, or girl kissing, hugging holding hands with another guy...it kills me...So when i saw my ex with his arms around her I was like "fuck her"...cause it was hard for me to go through a day of school thinking about them...So to make things easier i thought of other girls that were flirting with me, which took my ex outta my mind...but now that i know she never liked him and that her friends asked to go out with the guy, i still like her...

It's easy to say forget her, but the practice is more difficult... if you want things to be more "officially" over, ie. a nice, clean break, instead of wondering what the deal is, just talk to her. You don't have to make a big deal out of it. Just ask her what's up, tell her to be honest, it's cool, and see what she says. If you're right, then you shouldn't have any question that it's over between you two.

That really hurt me but today she is saying that she stil likes me lots but she is "too young to get into a relationship" which i decoded as "i dont wanna go out wit you anymore i like youre freind better". So i dunno,im hurt and fucking pissed of at my freind but i REALLY like the girl.

Like her all you want, if she doesn't want to go out with you, then she doesn't. Seeing her suddenly with your friend sucks, but again, if that's what she wants, there's not a lot you can do to change it.

The only question now is, how are you going to handle the situation? Are you going to take the low road and try some sneaky, underhanded shit to try and extract a modicum of revenge on one or both of them, or are you going to take the high road, brush it off, and move on to the single life again?

It's worth mentioning the possibility she's trying to make you jealous, although from what you've said, that doesn't sound like it's the case. If she is, though, she's not worth your time, so forget about her.

I dont think ill go with extracting revenge. It could backfire(with my luck it would)and the joke be on me or they all just think im extremely immature or something. Im going to just ignore her.Maybe find a new gal pal.

Don't just blow her off. Still be good friends with her. I'm in the same situation and it really pisses me off. I told her, I want a girlfriend, the one I want is her, but if I can't have her I'm gonna look for someone else. But don't give her the impression that your gonna screw the first chick that walks by. Just let her know how you feel and move on. Maybe you'll meet someone twice as good. Good luck. I know how you feel.

shit man, I'm in almost exactly the same position, only this girl wont say anything about anyone she's into. Errg!

Oh yea, here's something to do. Get really drunk one night, and call her up. Tell ehr you love her, and how much oyu like her. Then when you've sobered up, tell her it wasn't bullshit. Well if she already knows you like her I suppose that's a lost cause
