AIDS question
I was just wondering about the statement that AIDS comes from monkeys. Automatically it came into my mind that if AIDS came from monkeys and it is a sexually transmitted disease (I suppose they could've traded some plasma with ol' chim chim)it becomes obvious the real question is . . ., "Who fucked the monkey?"
I didn't see anything about the transfer of the disease from primate to man, but then again I didn't look.

Re: AIDS question
Hello??? Does anyone who posted here read anything that doesn't exist on this site? How would a virus such as this that changes form in this manner have just popped up in monkeys one day? The AIDS question has been asked, researched and answered. Yes it came from Monkeys in Africa, but only because the American government was experimenting with the disease for biological warfare and infecting the Monkeys with it as part of research. As is usual with the Government, they screwed up and lost control of their "control" group. How the AIDS spread from the Monkeys to humans is a better question. I prefer to think that it was from being eaten or even that people were having sex with monkeys however unbelievable because the alternative, that my government purposely began testing the viruses effect on humans and choose a remote area with an already high mortality rate so as not to be suspicious, is just too chillingly unthinkable.

Re: AIDS question
Why is that so unthinkable? They deliberately put soldiers and civilians close to nuclear blasts just to find out the effect of fallout. I't's been proven. The government has paid reperations to citizens who's property was down wind of atmospheric tests. It was proven that they deliberately placed the tests in that area specifically so that the fallout would land on the civilian property.

Re: AIDS question
I'm about sick of talking about this, but I have a hard time leaving people to their ignorance.
AIDS can not be a biowepon. Patient 0 has been tracked back to an African vilager who got it from a group of chimpanzes. This was back in the 50's. The structure of DNA, and the subsequent ability to manupilate it didn't come about until the 60's. AIDS can not be a biowepon because it is a technical impossibility.

Technical impossibility? Interesting. Please elaborate (or post sources)

Re: AIDS question
AIDS is an STD, but you can easily transfer it through blood, thats why the africans got it from monkeys. Alot of them dont have much food so they have to kill things, as well as chimps.
