I a few threads that i've recently read here i have seen people doubt whether they have been putting condoms on correctly. Especially in the "Manual Fetus Abortion" thread. Someone said that a round circle of latex came off the end of the condom. This is a common thing that happens when the condom is not correctly put on. When you don't squeeze the teet (the little bubble on the end) whilst you put the condom on air gets trapped inside. Then during intercourse friction causes the air to expand, and like putting to much air into a balloon, the condom will burst.

I'd like to add that another major culprit of breakage is LACK OF LUBRICATION..

ie make SURE your girl is into it first.. or use a WATERBASED lube.

definately make sure the chick is into it first.. that makes things way easier..

Waterbased lube is important because petrochemicals (such as vasiline) will chemicaly react with latex, weakening it.

I dont know how to put on a condom (and never will), or in any case never will need to being that im not gona get laid...well as long as I have enough sanity not to go out to rape someone...

That could well be a good idea Wintermute. I remember way back in middle school we had to put condoms onto a cucumber- it took me 4 or maybe 5 goes to get it right but practise makes perfect as they say. Seriously- if you didn't get taught how to put a condom on (in school or otherwise) it might be a good idea to practise. I know it sounds stupid, putting a condom on then binning it just for practise, but it could well end up being the difference between not getting the girl knocked up and pregnency.

On a side note- do they still make you put condoms on cucumber, or have things move on? Dildos were too taboo when i had to do the whole Sex Ed thing.

beyond anything else, it's SO fucking awkward to have to wait 10 minutes for the guy to figure out how to put on a condom when you're both 'in the middle' of it as it were..

So seriously, yeah, practise putting one on a couple times, either on your dick if you have one, or something like a zucchini (cucumbers are just waaaaay too unrealistically large, though I'm sure most guys would disagree )

You could also try not being a retard and just put it on.. it's not tough... just don't rush. Once you get it over the head, it's nothing more than unrolling the condom.

I don't doubt that. It'd be silly to, considering a few of those people did so in this thread. I'm just saying it's not a complicated process. Goofing up is one thing. Not quite picking up on the process of putting the condom on is another matter entirely.

Take the time to read the box. I had no doubts about how to put one on, but I read it anyway. It's just a good precaution.

Just like to add that over here in the UK i got showed in school. Obvouisly on a cucumber not the real thing. Shows the state of schools these days i think.

has anyone ever had the condom sorta unroll a bit at the base after a good deal of the ol' in-out? not all the way, not even half the way...just a bit.

just curious. i almost never use them...thank god for monogamy and pills.

Of course with a bit of 'in and out' they will roll up a little... but you cant stop that... and if you having trouble getting to know how to put one on ... please read the instructions cause you dun wanna be in the middle of 'it' and not know how to put one on... that would just be embarrasing...lol

does it usually fall on the girl to put on the condom or the guy? seems like if a guy did it himself hed like, go soft. i take the shots so just wonderin

It's not it is an ordeal. Properly done it should only take a few seconds.

read the instructions and make sure you get it the right way around. seriously it's not as hard as you think.i can do it blindfolded(fun in the right circumstances) hanging upside down with lubed hands.

THe more I think about it, the better marriage and sex are together. It's nerve-wrecking to have sex with a girl-friend when I can't support my self. (Im talking about high school years.)

I never found putting on a condom to be rocket science. I mean... I CAN DO IT!:-D It looks just like the picture on the box...
