why do people fear love?

A girl which loves me a lot, just let me down. We had a date, we wanted to meet at a party. 3 of her girlfriends told me that she is nearly dying when she sees me. She would become a six-year-old dumb girl that forgets how to speak. But she wasn�t there.

And no, she doesn't. Unless she knows you really, really well, then it is probably lust, infatuation etc. But, it's a start. So go for it, and maybe it will become true love later........
