A guy's life
Why is it that the guys have all the complicated problems. You always hear a guy asking what he needs to do to keep/get his girl followed by a situation that most of us have heard a thousand times over and more than likely has no real solution. Girls on the other hand seem to have trouble getting rid of the guy. Anyone one see the problem here? Do girls just dominate relationships or what?

Re: A guy's life
I reckon it's because guys have a much larger challenge finding a girl. A plain looking girl will have much more success of finding a new boyfriend as opposed to a plain looking guy finding a new girlfriend.

Re: A guy's life
I think most women ask their friends for help and not people they don't know on a BBS.

Girls have 1/2 of the money, and all of the pussy. So I would say yeah. (But only if you let them.) Guys Just dont be a pussy whipped punk. There was life before the chick there will be life after she is long gone.

Re: A guy's life
Women have complicated relationship problems all the time. The difference is that they are more likely to just talk to their friends instead of post on the internet about it.

I'll wager that 90% or more of complicated relationship problems wouldn't be complicated if the people involved would stop being so goddamn paranoid, insecure, and/or scared of things not going their way.

Men dont have complicated problems compared to women, what the hell are you talking about? Women are inherently unstable and insane.

Re: A guy's life
I have to agree with spirit, but honestly if i could take away all my horneyness at the price of my penis, i would. Think of all the good things girls %#@^ up. No offense laddies but ive seen many good friends goto waste just because of a dumb bitch who couldnt count to 2. I know it may seem harsh but horneyness gets in the way of everything. If any 1 should know anything about this it would be me, my friend was killed over a stupid fight about a girl. Brightest kid ever KILLED over horomones. Its not right. And im aware of the scar it left behind. No im not gay, i just dont like women. I hope its just a faze

Holy crap, yes they do. I guess you've never been a victim of the "drunk emotional guy in a bad relationship just needing someone to talk to to get 'another girl's advice on the matter'". I'm going to make a hunch that men tend to not share their intimate problems with their male friends, but prefer anonymous methods, drunkenly pouring out their emotions to some other girl, just bottling things up, or sublimating their emotions in other ways. quote: I have to agree with spirit, but honestly if i could take away all my horneyness at the price of my penis, i would. Many guys subconsciously only pick women that are very physically attractive, but are emotionally manipulative or intellectually vapid. They don't even notice the more intelligent and emotionally mature women that look like average people and not MTV models. So, yes, many of you boys are thinking with your cack. Your and your friend's fuck-ups are often not the fault of "women". They are the fault of bad personal choices. The flipside of this age-old story is the dumb girls that constantly only date "bad boys" and avoid good guys because they are too "boring" or "nerdy", then get pissed at all men when the "bad boys" end up screwing them over. The problem is not "men" and "women". The problem is individuals not making mature relationship choices. [This message has been edited by TheMouse (edited 10-14-2002).]

Re: A guy's life
Men get along with other men. Women do not get along with women. Guys that are friends tend to be happy for each other and congratulate each other for sexual exploits. Women seethe and envy each other, and compete over just about everything. The saddest specimens of men I know only compete with their cars- but they are pretty gay and most guys arent like that.

Re: A guy's life
Spirit, when you say "women", are you refering to teenagers or mature older women, or all of them? Methinks you are thinking about certain teenagers and younger women.

No, all the women I know and know of are likewise manipulative, competitive, scheming, jealous lunatics as well.

Re: A guy's life
My experience doesn't mirror yours at all. My mother always has a tightly knit group of lady friends wherever she moves who always get along amazingly (all aged 50+). She's also kept the same best friend since her early 20's and they never have done any scheming or backstabbing against each other. They're two peas in a pod, pretty much. There is one woman in my family that gossips a lot, but everyone else (male and female) got annoyed at her for that reason. Otherwise, they all get along very well.
As for men all "getting along", watch the fights that break out if two guys want the same girl.

Re: A guy's life
Apparently South Jersey isn't the place just southwest of Staten Island and north of Washington, D.C., but is a land unto itself, on an entirely different planet from ours.

Re: A guy's life
What exactly is considered "South Jersey"? I live in Ocean County. Would that be considered SJ?

What about the random boner everywhere a guy goes? Many ways are needed for coverup. "Sometimes you can tell, but dont bug him about unless he's someone you hate." Becareful with that too. They might be nice enough to show you if you bring the topic up. So.... be careful It would be a very VERY embarassing in class if I fkn blew a load in my pants. "A big white one" Always a worry. Always a boner [This message has been edited by TheParkinator (edited 10-17-2002).]

Re: A guy's life
The south of Ocean County is South Jersey. 609 is an uncivilized area code, and the one I am referring to, in which I have experienced the most abnormal anachronisms.

Re: A guy's life
When you are young, girls have the upper hand, no question. Most guys(and generalizing always gets you in trouble) reach their sexual peak when they are 18-21. Sex is constantly on your mind, with little control over the situation. So girls have a lot of power, because they have what you want. When they are young, women will only put up with "perfect" relationships, because there are plenty of men to choose from who will be with them. Supply and demand in action.
Later, however, the tide shifts dramatically. Most women(generalizing again) seek the security of a relationship and marriage, and the older they get the more elusive it is. They are much more willing to compromise on every issue, because they see how difficult it is to find a partner. The older you get(to a point) the more dramatic it is. Also, women reach their sexual peak in their 40's. They generally behave like teenage guys in that sex is on their minds all the time, and they really crave it.
So you see, the balance of power is ever-changing. Just wait, and see for yourself.

Re: A guy's life
I used to hang out in Absecon. My friend cut his finger off there breaking a bottle over his head and washed it off in Absecon Bay. Damn we were sad...
Anyway, that thing about girls only tolerating perfect relationships in their youth is incorrect.
