Dump your friends before you start a new relationship. What kind of friends are they anyway?

dude if you're serious about this girl then don't give a fuck what your friends think. If they seriously make fun of you then they aren't worth being "friends" with in the first place. So just try returning the affectionate things that Beth says to her and see what happens.

Why would they start making fun of you now if youve had years of experience with rejection. Why would this time be different. Get some real friends even if you dont get the courage to ask this girl out, if you have to worry so much about what your friends think of you than its not worth keeping them.

If your friends give you shit for getting a girl, more than friendly ribs, they're not very good friends. If, as you say, it's you being worried about what they'll say or do, then I think you need to grow a pair.

Fuck your friends on this decision. I mean if they start making fun of you for goin out wit a chick then just screw 'em and make some friends that the chicks knows. Your friends are no part in your lovelife decisions.

are you all fucking stupid? bros before hos always! if they are making fun of you its probably for a good reason, this girl is no good for you. trust me they know far better than you since they can view the situation without emotion.

how many times have your friends warned you a girls is no good? plenty

how many times did she end up being no good? every time

i bet almost every guy here answers the same to those question with the exception of the girl hes with now since she has him brain washed.

Hey syph, read his post a little more closely.

"but what the real fear is what my friends will think"

Doesn't sound like what someone already getting razzed by his friends would say.

What about a steer?

Not in the face!! Not in the face!!

Seriously, your friends' input on this is pretty much pointless. What matters is how you feel about her, if she reciprocates your affection, and that's it. Bam. End of story.

Though perhaps I oversimplify... my real life friends number about... two, so I'm not sure of the perspective of thinking about what your friends will think. Or something like that. It's two in the morning here, I'm a bit disoriented.

Any real friend should be encouraging you to approach someone you are interested in. Just do it man. Whatever that happens would be better than not approaching her at all, and not finding out, 'cos then you'll always be wondering 'what if'. Then you'll be kicking yourself...
