I think 13 is good enough, however thats because im 14. When i get older, say 21, i wouldnt go for anyone younger than 16.

I'm 21 & kids that are 16 look way too young for me to go 4!!
I don't usually bother with anyone under 18!!!
Most 16 year old's are a bit immature & i've got nothing in common with them!.

being 17 i would probably bone a 14 year old, i just wouldnt tell anyone about it.

Personally i think its horrible how people under 15 have sex. This is just my opinion so don't blast assults at me!!

You know...at around 30 years of age, in a lot of the world, it is not considered strange to marry someone up to 10 years younger than you. Its just a social thing, but as long as the two people know what they are doing, theres nothing wrong with it.

Yeah, but 30 - 10 = 20. That's still an adult. It's still a bit skewed, perhaps, but most people would consider both parties to be grown up enough to make their own decisions (although that wouldn't stop a good percentage of those people from railing against it as a mistake anyway).

I think alot has too do with the maturity of a person age is a rough guideline. For instance I have a female friend who was 15 when she started dateing a 22 year old (no not for booze) now 16 and 23 and honestly looking at the quality of their relationship I have no problems with it. However then I know others who well... yah..

You make a good point about what people would think if their country's/state's laws had a relatively low legal age. Thing is, if people were used to that law, it would also affect how ready the kids of that age are to make decisions like that, because being ready would be expected of them. Right now, I can tell you that, outside of the rare exception, a 14-year-old doesn't have much of a clue of anything. Were the legal age of consent 14, that might not be the case.

see now thats my point why should that matter..if 14 in some other country is legal why should the girls all of a sudden be more mature..just because some law makers say this is legal and this isnt...
