To hit these in reverse order..

Guys are not the famous ones here. There are exceptions- Peter North, Ron Jeremy, John Holmes- but it's the girls that get the attention. I still wouldn't suggest running for a political office afterwards, though..

For what it's worth, I read an interview in a book about the world of porn. I don't remember who was being interviewed, but I gathered these things from his experiences:

Porn Star? Lol. I did that for a while. And it's not all its psyched up to be. Did it part time because I thought it would be fun but then it became old. And Old fast. The sex was staged and we were constantly being told what to do. The STD tests were also a pain in the ass. Being poked with needles every three weeks wasnt that fun.

Eventually sex with my significant other became un-interesting. I kept getting the odd feeling someone was going to jump in and say "Now freeze, a little to the left." A bit of a turn off.
