i read about these people who lived on an emerald green island just off the south coast of ireland, that believe that humour, like language of any particular culture cannot be fully understood without knowing everything about the people that create it. and to do that one would have to almost be a part of that culture. Clowns are usualy associated with humour but for me personaly I think of stephen King and the site of a clown can be a nightmare, unless i put on a plastic red nose...then i feel so silly I must laugh..especialy if I then look in the mirror.
