somewhat ugly?
k, first off, i have really low self esteem. and i am really shy (im a guy, k?) despite what my freinds think, and i don't think im all that good lookin, but not really ugly i think, and theres this realy buetiful girl i like, and she's really nice, but im to afraid to ask her out, i think i m right for her personaly, cause i can treat her good, but i think she deserves better (ie a guy thats hansome). It seems like idon't think i'll ever hvae a girl freind. especialy one like her. but isn't it true that theres someone for everyone, i've seen way uglier guys then me with buetiful girls. what should i do? any comments? or anything please reply

Re: somewhat ugly?
Think of it this way. Nobody is better then you. And there is nothing to lose by asking her out.

Re: somewhat ugly?
Alright, you may feel not so good about yourself, but honestly, there's more to looking good than having a beautiful face..
Once upon a time, I dated this guy for a while.. basically fell in lust with him the first moment I saw him.. he had such a sense of style about him.. his face, wasn't anything special at all, many of my friends thought he was ugly.. but oh man, he was so hot.. had this whole 70's thing going on, vintage clothes, lots of curly black hair, huge black rimmed specs..
Moral of the story being that honeslty, it's not your face that matters, it's what's inside that comes out.. if you want to gain self esteem about your appearance, how about working out?.. give yourself some muscles and a body to die for, and that alone will help the way you feel about yourself.. do what you can to develop a personal style, find what you think looks good on you.. get comfortable in your skin, it's the only one you're going to have.. get good haircuts, that'll help too..
You say yourself, you think you'd be the right guy for her, so convince her of that. And here's the thing, beautiful girls need nice guys just as much as the ugly ones do..
And if she says no, don't sweat it, there are lots of other girls out there.. you deserve at least one of them, just like everyone else.

Re: somewhat ugly?
ok, she's kinda in the pop. crowd, and even thuogh she's one of the nice 1's, what if she tells them i asked her out, then i would'nt only get made funof but maybe even beat up. and if she said yes then the same thing applies. i think she's the kind of girl who wouldn't tell anyone, but still. what if?

Re: somewhat ugly?
If she tells them, she tells them
Wanna live your life on what if's?
If you don't ask her, you have zero chance.
If you do, you at least have a chance..
What's worse, no girl at all, or the slight risk of ridicule?

Re: somewhat ugly?
If you dont ask, you're going to HAVE to live with the "What if i would have asked her out" fact.
Goodluck dude.

yes, but if he fails, he wouldnt have a chance with any other girl from that point. I would train with some other, easier girls.

Re: somewhat ugly?
Why wouldn't he?
Just because he asked out one girl, why would all the girls in the universe suddenly not want to date him?

Re: somewhat ugly?
His chances of getting a date with anyone aren't gonna go down because someone says no. If she said yes and found out he had some cracked out broccoli fetish or something, and then went and spread it around, THEN he might have some issues.
Dude, I've seen too many guys who have no business at all getting laid, get laid, sometimes regularly. Most of 'em were of the "who would fuck that?" variety. A lack of self-esteem showing through will kill you a hundred times before your looks do.

1. Hes a starter going for the highest goal. 2. Hes materialistic, so he wont convince. 3. If he talks the way he writes ...

Re: somewhat ugly?
im gonna try and keep the esteem up. im also gonna TRY to ask her out on friday. that way if she says no, then i won't have to sit in class all week feeling weird, the weekend will give her time to forget it, or put it in the past, and if she says yes (long shot but just maybe) then we have the weekend to do whatever. but untill then keep the advice/putdowns coming

Ah...If only people did get what they deserved. I really mean that.

Re: somewhat ugly?
Johnnyemopunk never mind, eh! I guess that i'm just lucky that i'm so good looking & don't have to worry bout this trivial shit! No though, i've allways been told (don't know if it's true) that personallity goes alot further! Basically yo get the girl initially by your looks, but you can't build a relationship on looks alone, personallity is what counts when a relationship gains full speed!!!!!!

Re: somewhat ugly?
Think of this dude:
"He who hesitates will always masterbate"
what that means what is the worst that could happen if you ask her out? maybe she'll say no, if she says yes the best that could happen is that you get laid. and if you never ask at all someone will before you and may end up with her. So definatly try for a go. Good luck!
