To take this a little further....

Also remember, you need to be warm in cold weather. Alot of clothing companies have started putting down into their jackets to make them "warm as a sleeping bag". And cool in hot weather. You want to be able to wear the bear minimum of your cloths. Hence the fashion for pants that unzip into shorts. You also want to look good, and shiny material like silk (and yes, nylon) seem to be in.

So, to sum up, what we want is somehting that is easy to get into and out of, warm, has large section that unzip for those hot days, is shiny and possibly make of nylon... let get back to basics people ! What's WRONG with the good old sleeping bag ? ... So you have to hop a bit, thats no big deal... easier than the 3 legged race

ps. The four legged race in the sleeping bag... now THAT is fun (And warm and cosy)
