Well, as lostmind says, alot of what you should do depends on how she feels about you.. If she doesn't feel anything but friendship for you, then you declaring your undying love would mean that she ends up thinking you're a stalker or something (defn not a good idea)..

If you're going to get her something nice, as has been said, pay attention to her, spring something on her that maybe she doesn't realize you know she likes.. if you want to take it a step farther, though, make something that she'll really like. No matter how much money you're willing to spend on her, it'll mean a lot more if you get five bucks in stuff and create a gift with your own hands to show her how you feel.
