In all seriousness, you may want to consider going to the local library and reading up on Greek Mythology. If I'm not mistaken, look for a story about Oephious (?) who was also in love with his mother, much as you are. While you're there, go into the psychology section and see if you aren't able to get some help in understanding yourself more there.

I think the reasons being for this is that your mother is dear to you, you have know her all your life and hence admire her. Sometimes it starts from hearing or seeing your parents have sex. You want to be the head male of your domain you are maturing and in the prime. What does the head male do? Has sex with the head female. Social animals (wolves, coyotes, lions, gorillas, etc.) actually try and some do have sex with their mothers. What it means is you have a drive to be the "head" male and it's quite normal to have that drive. Males usually deal with it one of several ways: arguments and fights with dad or head male, rebellion, breaking all the rules, dominating siblings, fanatasizing about the lead mother, or move out and get their own place. It's natural and it usually ends up in moving out a lot of times with a guy friend. Social mammals do this too, rogue young lions, wolves, apes etc seek other groups after moving on. Usually groups of 2 or 4 males form until they can take over a group. But not always. Sometimes the take over the group they are in, but that is not characteristic of all animals including humans.

So it's ok, you'll get over it, and life will go on. I can't say you're a bad person, but I wouldn't tell too many people about this problem, some folks wouldn't know better.

I believe that humans have civilization, which the animals do not have. This is why it is uncommon to find. Not morals--civilization. As a whole, common society dictates what civilization is. It is up to the common person to decide his or her own individual morality.
