Re: The Top Ten BEST Things about Canada
10. Canada is America's hat.
9. Canada makes decent beer.
8. Canadian accents are hilarous.
7. Canada thinks it's a major world power, again, hilarous.
6. You can get some amazing pot in Vancouver
5. It's a great combination of eskimos, lumberjacks, and french guys with hats.
4. It's almost on par with Mexico when it comes to cheap pharmeceuticals.
3. I've never had the misfortune to experience it's weather. (I'm in Arizona, thank god. Home of the 80 January.)
2. It's the filming place of Strange Brew.
1. It's America Jr.!

Re: The Top Ten BEST Things about Canada
Hahaha.
Dick Cheney walks into the Oval Office and sees the prez in front of a completed puzzle hooting and hollering.
"Why are you cheering?" asks Dick.
"I finished the puzzle in record time," replies Mr. Bush.
"How long did it take you?" The Vice Presidents asks.
"It says 3 to five years on the box, but I finished it in a month."

Re: The Top Ten BEST Things about Canada
Canada's beer is kinda funny (it's GREEN! I mean, GREEN for christ's sake! Sorry, I just kinda think that's a tr1p to see for one whom is so closely tied and familiar to Mr. Bud Weiser.) I agree though, they do got some good herbs there, I used to live right next to the border basically and got a fare share of the Leaf Country's greenery. Shit, with an idiot like Bush waging war maybe I'll end up moving up north sooner than later-

Re: The Top Ten BEST Things about Canada
Back in 1883, my gr8-gr8- grandpappy left his impoverished home country of Ireland to seek a better quality of life for him, his wife, & 4 kids. They ended up landing at Ellis Island. They now had running water. Food a plenty!! Everyday was almost like an X-Mas feast. They loved America. ZZZIIIIP!!!!! 120 years later. His gr8-gr8 grandson(me) finds himself in the same position. Lack of jobs(thanks Dubya, ya dick!), rude and psychotic citizenry, crowdedness, and lack of freedoms cause KP to decide to relocate up to the Great White North. When I think of Canada, I think of what my gr8-gr8 granpappy thought of America 120 yrs ago before it got tainted. A place of opportunity. A new start. I'd prefer to live in the British Columbia section. Is it easier to cross the Canadian border than it is the Mexican border? Now I know how a refugee feels Can someone give me the 1-2-3's of being Canadian?

Umm... I never said or implied that NJ was part of Canada, probably because it is not part of Canada. I just made reference to an already-existing joke. That's all. 1

Re: The Top Ten BEST Things about Canada
I've been to pacific breweries where they filmed strange brew. I've never been inside but it reeks like hell from the outside. The only time i've ever heard of green beer was on the simpsons prohibition episode.

2. free medicare

6. and yes our beer is good but no its not green
7. we are liked by the rest of the world unlike our american friends
8. U.S.A would never fight us because all of your homes would have no power ( Canada supplies a lot of power to the U.S.A)\\
9. No tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes ad valcanoes
10. Like almost no crime compared to our smaller brothers.
dispelling myths
1. we dont talk with a funny accent
2. were not escimoes
3. we dont wear french hats
4. its not always cold here, you want a cold country go to russia its just as cold where i am as it is in new york

7. we are not poor and so on we afford everything you guys have (by the way americas economy is going down, while ares is rissing)

well here we go 1. you really have to hate americans because they think that they are the best and if anyone questions it they will be shot which will eventually be its demise. they are also very ignorent and brain washed by their government. but you cant tell them and they will never find out due to there ignorence. 2. you dont have to sell your house to get a good doctor 3.... have fun in this great country... without having to wear a kevlar vest while walking to the supermarket.

Re: The Top Ten BEST Things about Canada
Geez, testy. I realize many Canadians don't have the stereotypical Canadian accent, but trust me, you do have an accent. There's nobody in my opinion who doesn't, unless you pick one dialect of English and call that the basis. Deal with the stereotypes with good humor. I'm from Utah, so I have to deal with location stereotyping a lot too. 'Are you Mormon?' 'Don't you have polygamy up there?' 'You can't even get liquor in Utah, can you?' *sigh*
