I think george bush is one of the stuppidest people I have ever heard of. His new tax changes mean that America will be getting even more into debt. America has such large debts that you should be very worried. This is the time when America is prosperous. If you have a big recession your fucked!

As for North Korea. 1 in a 100 people in North Korea is in a concerntration camp. North Korea has one of the worst human rights records of any country. They are more than willing to go to war with America. They have nuclear weapons yet America wont touch them. I doubt it would be the case if North Korea was ontop of the worlds largest undeveloped oil reserves.

I agree there has to be some adjustments but you have to realize that the more money people get back in pocket they will turn around and buy things needed allowing the Government to get their money back in sales taxes. its a win win situation for everyone. The Government wont get all their money back but it might stimulate growth. people first buy more and the Government recieves sales taxes then as people purchase more there will be a need for more products which then create more local jobs. more people to work retail and more people to work in factories to manufacture products. So its not as stupid as it sounds. And the only reason the Clinton years were so profitable is because he gave big tax breaks to companies in return for creating more jobs. But over time the companies started to cut cost and fired people and thats around the time Bush took office. Bush inherited clintons fucking mess. Clinton was a fuck up with short term solutions. Bush has a plan that will last a good decade. By then the planet will most likely burst into flames or the mother ship will return for us.

Personally i agree that Bush is an idiot... its not that he couldnt be a great president. He's just being misguided. As for the new tax cuts, hey cutting taxes is a great way to stimulate economy, as long as the dont only cut the rich upper classes taxes. Which is what they are doing. Oh well with the current inflating rate of discontent here in the states it really will not be much longer before yet another revolution starts. Or another civil war, depends on if its successful.

Anyone can get into harvard buisness school by pulling some strings. But to graduate you have to progess through some heavy academic seas. Bush completed his education achieving high academic marks. Senator Edward Kenedy was expelled from harvard.

Bush is not stupid earlier in his canadacy he was plauged with a "failure to communicate". Simply he tried to memorize what all his spinners would advise him to say and his presenation would come out sounding awkward.

Regarding north korea, if you consider "diplomacy" being clinton giving them money and assisting in their evolution of nuclear power plants. Then diplomacy can work. They are more of a threat to south korea, china and japan.

During clinton's two terms in office allocated spending for education was between 30-35 billion dollars.

Bush's proposed budget for the fiscal year of 2003 (which we are already in) set aside 55-60 billion in education spending. Too bad everything is still tied up in congress.

The intrest rate of federal stafford (student) loands have dropped significantly when bush got into office. Plus bush recently set aside a significant ammount of money to aide enviromental issues here in the united states, creating a seperate spending bill putting the money into the hands of the people that need it.

Bush is not an idiot. He does not always come up with the right words when speaking (which I admit is unusual for a world leader) but he does make sense if you look past that and see what he is saying.

On taxes, some people will never get this, but ONLY cuts in taxes for "the rich" will stimulate the economy to any real degree. They really are BUSINESS tax cuts designed to encourage new business and expansions that create jobs etc. Putting a couple dollars back in the pockets of broke people does not have nearly the same effect. Most of them don't follow their budgets close enough to even notice any tax cut. The politicians who spin this as unfair tax cuts for the rich understand the benefits, but they still spin it just to trick idiots into voting for them.

On North Korea and Iraq: Both are an issue and North Korea being one does not mean we should ignore Iraq. It is much easier to take action in Iraq because of the broken treaties that ended the Gulf War. That is why we have at least some international support and even still it was tough to get. Also, the main threat right now is terrorism, not nukes and Iraq is seen as more likely to support terrorists.

I agree with you completely, I think Bush is a stuborn Jackass, even though i supported bush during the election... lets just say if i could go back in time knowing what i know now i would have been for (never thought i would say this but) Gore. Atleast gore wasn't tring to go to war with every damn country that has oil. People who think that we go to war because we want oil just make that claim without thinking. If all we cared about was oil, why do we ally ourselves with Israel in the Middle East? Wouldn't it be easier to sell our souls and just make friends with the oil producing nations and buy it real cheap for us by providing them weapons that they could use to destroy Israel? We don't just take military action (or foreign policy action) based on oil. Bosnia, Somalia, Haiti, Libya, Korea, Vietnam etc. were not about oil. There is no reason to think Iraq is either. A country is mainly judged on the actions of its leaders, not the `People`. The people don�t get a say on most of the actions taken by their elected office until a general election, and then they make false promises.

Too be a super power you probably need most of the following. (1) Large land mass (2) large population (3) lots of money (4) large military.
China from what I can see from my research is one of the only countries that can fulfil the above requirements. And I think they are quite happy just getting on with there own affairs.

America gets accused of being a War hungry. Why?. This action in the middle east is only a direct response against being attacked themselves, it was that fatefull day that has lead us to the present day. Do not lose site of the facts, war was not only declared against America but against all `Western Civilisation`. America is just seen as the Western Ambassador.
