Re: Card Tricks
ComradeAsh, right now it's only my feeling of solidarity for a fellow Melburnian that's stopping me from somehow killing you.
And anyway, it's all in the wrist.

Re: Card Tricks
Watch out, I've got a deck of throwing cards. But that would be a cool thing to be able to do.

Re: Card Tricks
It is called Ripley's Believe it or Not. Meaning some things are fake. I would guess the card thing is fake or the card isnt a regular playing card, like it has a stainless steel edge or something....

Re: Card Tricks
No, it was in fact true. They were regular playing cards, but the guy throwing them was a professional baseball player(I think).
He holds records for distance and accuracy with playing cards, and he did in fact slice a banana in two. Peeled, of course.
He also embedded one in a watermelon.
Now this is what kids these days should be aspiring to.

Re: Card Tricks
Everything in Ripley's Beleive It Or Not is true. A lot of it is unlikely, that is why it is called Beleive It Or Not.

'i can peel off my skin with a razor' belive it or not. or who gives a shit, the way the ratings are organised in australia it doesn't make a diffrence weather i watch the show or not, it is always someone else. the special people with the little books, or the special top thing. they are the ones that matter. then will never find out what civil liberties people watch though. mwuahahahahaahaahha

you mean like when they stick big hooks in there backs and hang from the ceiling? i dont see how anyone could do that. i saw one where this guy got hooks through the skin of the side of his kneecaps and hung upsidedown from a tree for like a half an hour.
