Think of the irony!
I was surfing the web the other day and I got a pop-up about a program that blocks pop-ups.

Re: Think of the irony!
Alot of those pop-up blocker programs create more pop-ups than they destroy.
It sucks.

Re: Think of the irony!
The purpose is to shove the irony in your face. It's saying "LOOK HOW ANNOYING THIS IS! Just click here and it won't ever happen again!"

Re: Think of the irony!
My friend and I actually made a program that is similar to the pop up stoppers, but it is built into Internet Explorer 6. We basically hacked the source code. And no, I am not giving it to you.

Re: Think of the irony!
Yea, that is pretty far-fetched. The most you could do is make in IE plugin.

Re: Think of the irony!
Yeah, well, I hacked the Opera code and built a pop-up blocker into it. Then I uploaded it onto their main servers so every copy has it.
Yeah.
*Hits F12 and marvels at his integrated pop-up blocker*

Re: Think of the irony!
We were making fun on him. But traditionally hacking was taking things apart and modifying them, so i suppose it would make sense.
Anyway, decompiling something doesnt give you the source, and i would be willing to bet my life you couldnt get anything that closely resembles source via decompiling now, since most things after VB3 have had more protection.
I also know for a fact there is no way he had the IE source, so the best he could've done would be to make a plugin(like somone else said) or make a standalone program that runs alongside of IE. Although, i am more leaning towards the idea that he doesnt know how to program anything, and thought this whole idea up in his head and posted it before even thinking it out.
