That's pathetic stopping kids from seeing movies; everybody knows they'll all grow up to be disfunctional anyways with or without those horrible influences.
heh.

Have you heard some of Eminem's lyrics though? Abrasive to say the least.

Save the children from what? From being exposed to the trueth about the state of the world (I.E. Poverty, anger, etc.)? The world that the corporate media will not cover? Fuck, Id say its saving them to watch it. It opens there minds up, something parents, and media all over the world have been trying to prevent. if you ask me thats why there so angry.

This is an example of how kids become gay later in life ... BLAME THE PARENTS

I don't think it will turn a kid gay, but yes it will make the kid struggle in "real life". I hate the parents that forbid their kid to go anywhere or do anything because they are afraid. Yeah, afraid of the truth. If they forbid their kids to do certain things, the kids won't know how to deal with it later in life. Stop censorship, it is just decreasing the ability to handle things later in life.

an eminem film is not real life. i think everyone should be banned for watching that shit, for whatever reason you want.

it thier kids to fuck up, and no matter what they do they end up fucked up anyway, so you may as well go for the cheaper option.

Well, if I were one of these over-protective parents trying to install false moral values into America's children, I would rather see my kid pay to see 8 mile legitimately rather than seeing them either breaking into the theater or obtaining a pirated copy. These parents choose to attempt to monitor what goes into their children's heads. This is just about impossible, and they should just give up. I hope they wake up and realize that the conduct of their children is what matters. Maybe they will *chuckle* just give up *breaks out laughing hysterically*

and to quote eminem himself:

"and they blame the damn parents...so where are the parents at? well look at where they are at...see now its a tradgedy now its so fucked up to see..."

certainly he thinks its the parents responsibility to either let or not let their kids hear him.

Let your kids see what the world is like, but for God's sake, talk to them so they understand that in the real world, people's heads don't turn 180 degrees.

Exposing kids to reality and talking to them about it is better than them going out, finding on their own, and jumping to conclusions.

exposing kids to reality has nothing to do with films. i just watched terminator 2. does that mean that the real world involves robots trying to kill boys? no. if you think that sitting a child in front of any screen counts as experience, then you should not have kids. films are a form of entertainment, and some parents feel that they do not want thier kids to be exposed to situations or whatever in the film. would you let a child watch saving private ryan? its the same idea, diffrent extremes.

the only thing i would see that people have against eminem is that he swears, its not like he stands for anything, bad or good.

that said, these groups should be ignored. anyone who takes advice blindly from any person or group is not suitible to be responible for another life. read the warnings, and decide if you want your kid to see a movie with sex drugs and swearing then let them go, but if you decide that your child has no reason to see it, then stop them.

Why don't you contact them, and tell them all this shit?

By the way, here's a little poem that might fit with this.

Lies---

Telling lies to the young is wrong.
Proving to them that lies are true is wrong.
Telling them that God is in heaven
and all's well with the world is wrong.
The young know what you mean.
The young are people.
Tell them difficulties can't be counted,
and let them see not only what will be
but see with clarity these present times.
Say obstacles exist they must encounter
Sorrow happens, hardship happens.
The hell with it. Who never knew
The prcie of happiness will not be happy.
Forgive no error you recognize,
it will repeat itself, increase
and afterwards our pupils
will not forgive in us what we fogave.
