Default highway messages from the DEA

I don't know about other parts of the country but in north Texas right now marijuana has become fairly scarce. Earlier today I was driving down I-30 towards downtown Dallas when I saw a large sign on the side of the road which read, "If you think it's dry now wait until next month.-DEA" As I told a friend he remembered seeing a similar sign while driving from Dallas to Austin, this one read, "If you think it's dry now wait until Christmas.-DEA" If anyone has seen a sign similar to these two, please post 1)where you saw it 2)what the sign said.

If the DEA ever did that in my area i'd start homegrowing, and go put up signs for mail-order weed over the DEA's signs.

That is so typical of the self rightious, macho bullshit, war on drugs attitude. Go to Overgrow.com and get a picture of a nice garden, enlarge it and post it on a billboard a little past the one in question with the caption "Not if I can help it"

these signs are nothing new kids, youve just never seen them before. theyre all over the east coast as well, i think on my trip a few weeks ago i saw 3 or 4. they do it every year, and every year towards the end of summer there is a drought. this year NORML says that the DEA spent roughly 30 million to put up these signs. what a waste of my $$. there are people who will freeze this winter, in some states elementary school has been cut back to 4 days a week, there are homeless and drug addicted people who will never get help, and the DEA gets to spend 30 Million to taunt pot smokers driving down the highway. what a fucking joke. its a petty and immature way to spend 30 million of our tax dollars, and they do it every year. and i never had a problem gettin a bag, sorry to those who do. take matters into your own hands.

If I ever see any of those signs in my area, I shall "replace" them with my brand of grafitti art.

Similar ads are all over Oklahoma, you can probably guess that bud is a little tricky to get here too. The funny thing about this is though now that all that "dangerous" marijuana is gone, quite a few people are instead turning to the methamphetamine economy in Oklahoma.

I could nearly put money on it being nothing to do with the DEA that its dry there are their seizures up on last year? If they are it will be up all over their website Its the same in Ireland at this time of year with most drugs maybe its sesonal or something although it could be part of the fallout from 9/11 I mean over here we had a major drought on everything 2 months after 9/11 Heroin was blamed on Taliban being ousted hash onsecurity measures post 9/11 but really everything is a little harder to find at this time of year but its possibly down to the security measures in place for the 1st anniversary I know that was a month ago but it takes that long before the likes of you or I feel the pinch from these things

my friend was driving on 35W here in minnesota, and saw the same sing saying "if you think its dry now, wait till next month - DEA" so they must be poping up everywhere. ALSO i heard from another friend that Canada is planning on legalizing, Or doing something to the current marijuana laws. anyone know anything about this?
