random thoughts about whatever
i can;t think of anyone who hasn't recieved the 'apply yourself' speech. My behaviour in school (and to this day) is different, i never bowed down to conform to silly stereotypes and 'boxes'. It seems those who have 'adahd' or 'add' (if such things exist) are harder to control and brainwash than those who are 'normal' (hense why the drugs are used to control the brain for htose with hyperactive metabolisims).
School was boring, no doubt about it. I had a hard time with the math classes, but probably due to the fact that they were not applied math but rather abstract concepts made concretly confusing due to teachers who did not know what they were doing. I never took algebra 2, i failed geomerty one year and aced it my Senior year, Chemistry was just a math class with science overtones and Consumer Mathamatics was more informative than Consumer economics.
Science and English were my strong points, mainly due to my ability to read and apply concepts of hard knowledge to basic situations. Like most people today, computers are the easiest thing to deal with (any one who calls their computer tower or desktop a 'modem' and their monitor the computer needs to be dragged to a community training course for a couple of weeks at the very least.).
But then there was the social angle, i didn't care much for that, the attitude of the stereotypical teenager was obnoxious and at times just plain sad. conforming due to social conditioning and social pressure, bending down and saying that their individuality meant nothing to them, thats what if felt like. At times it felt more like an individual group rather than a group of individuals.
Considering that the school system is a part of the military industrial complex i would have to say that their plans have worked very well. passing the baton from genration to generation has worked perfectly, and in the end we have all been taught a slow suicide of the self, we have allowed the complex to tell us what to think, what to believe, who to be, and most of all, who and what we CAN be.
fighting the system is pointless, to fight the system you must become the system, and the system is souless.
everytime you say no to the system, you have won the battle, the war never ends.
