graffiti, art & street art.
not sure where to put this exactly...
Just wondering if anyone else has more than a passing interest in graffiti (of the big n colourful kind, not the crappy eyesorelike stuff) or any other kind of art? just getting into aerosol art and im sure someone here's gotta have some interesting shit to say about the subject.
Cheers

Re: graffiti, art & street art.
i don't know much about it, but everytime i see it on the streets and its crap it makes me soooooo mad, but if its great art, like shows emotion and so on, then its fine. No good art around our streets, all idiotic fucked up work.

Re: graffiti, art & street art.
takes a fair bit of time to get decent with spraypaint, taggings one of the best ways to practice can control so you'll get two kinds of tags (those little scribbles), ones written by kewls and ones written by practicing artists, imo, as long as whoever wrote it is tryin to be original and not some fuckin wanker who thinks he's tough cause he vandalises walls with paint, its all good

Re: graffiti, art & street art.
I like to see it. I wouldnt do it myself personally but i do like to see 'good' art even if its just a name. I do sigh sometimes when i see huge dicks scribbled everywhere. Those kids parents must be so proud!

Re: graffiti, art & street art.
like most things the best way is to just do it, keep practising and do it over and over till you develop a skill with it, its not easy to control at first, just get a load of cardboard boxes to start of on, the free ones round the back of corner shops are the best lol, start with easy stuff like shapes all the same colour then just progres as you feel ur skilled enough

Re: graffiti, art & street art.
If its got a meaning i like it. Theres alot of tagging going on today. I like some tags the ones that have had thought and time into them. But the tags which are just a scribble or a word are just a waist of time and make the place look more ugly.
Peace Renegade,
