i live in canada, thus i have many different backgrounds and i know nothing about them. my moms mom is from hungary, but she keeps talkin about chechslovakia and some take over. and my dads parents moved here from somewhere in the UK, called cornwall? whereabouts is that?he said he was or his dad was a govenor or some shit over there. please reply with answers, insults, etc.

Cornwall is a small surf area in the UK. Full of bars and surfers. Alot of people like it down there it hosts alot of things to do. I havent been but i know alot who have. Its a alternative to going on holiday abroad but its the weather which can be a draw back.

Czechoslovakia (Now the Czech Republic and Slovakia) was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Anyone coming to the US from those areas had 'Hungary' written as their originating homeland. My great grandparents were from Austria, and the immigration records for them say Hungary as their location.
