Today we went to a greek festival, and my mother, being a booze aficionado, enjoys ouzo. Quite a lot. So, we were about to go home, and she wants to drive, but she's staggering, so we don't let her, but she keeps saying that she can drive, she's not drunk, etc.* So it got me thinking about other stupid shit she's done.

Let's see, she trespassed onto private property to get a single fig/apple/whatever. Multiple times. In a place with very strict rules. And patrolling police/rangers.

She gets into arguments about the stupidest shit. She yelled at my father because he forgot to buy coffee. She threatened to divorce him because he didn't want to go to England. She accused him of switching (completely random in closed boxes) happy meal toys (when I was like 6, and my brother 6) just so we would fight. That ended in another divorce threat.

She started screaming (literally shrieking) at another restaurant because my brother had pointed out that they had messed up his order, something which would only take maybe 10 minutes to fix but was enough to completely change the taste of the meal to something my brother hated (they used the wrong gravy. It had cheese, he hates most cheese). She shoved a slice of pizza into my brother's face when he was not eating neatly. When he was about 8.

And the most recent, she took our enormous dog, who wants to leap on everybody new she meets, into a small and crowded video store. For the reason of not having me waiting outside and holding her. Which I was volunteering to do.

I guess for most of these you had to be here to really experience how bad they were. But I felt like I needed to vent. Eh. Whatever. Any of you have any maternal horror stories?

Not really, my mom is cool. My dad though...

Omygod!, like it's all so totally true! I was all like "Hey mawm, I'm like, totally going to the blue-light disco" and she'll all like "No way, not until you finish your homework" and I'm all like "Fuck you maaawm, you never let me do anything I want I hate you!" and she'll all like "You're grounded for like, a month!" she's such a goddamn bitch I so totally hate her she never listens to me or anything, like omygod!

My parents thnk i can still hear them when my headphones are so load(*sp?) that they can even hear what i am listening to. Stupid parents. but other than that they're pretty cool.

Your mom is a psycho, use her as a model of what "not" to look for in a woman.

I like my parents there kind and resonable.

oh yeah? well, once when i was about 7 or 8, i was takin' a piss and the lid slammed down on my dick and i damn near passed out.

so like any good son with a bruised, bloody pecker, i showed my mom and requested medical attention.

that bitch thought it was soooooooooo funny, for the next week, she told everyone she knew and on several occasions requested that i pull it out to show friends and family.

eventually the fun wore off and when she had hemmoroids removed 4 or 5 years later, i made sure i told everyone about her rotting arse.
