Mr couragous fire fighter or the hero stock broker who help save lives. What a crock of shit. You do what you have to do to survive. and for the fire fighters I respect them and know they put thier lives at risk but thats what they get paid to do. and if a situation is to dangerous for them then its their choice not to do it. But a real fire fighter will risk his life no matter what.

But what really pisses me off is the fact there were the other guys like the guys that clean the asshole stockbrokers shit up. Snaking the toilets when they're plugged, cleaning the loogies and snot rags out of the garabage bins, vacuming up after people. You know, the janitors, the window washers, the floor maids. no one every talked about how maybe they kicked holes in walls to save the asshole stock broker who would have never even say Good morning to them before all this shit happen.

I want footage damn it. I want to buy a video of every video tape shot of this event. i want a 18 pack DVD collection of the most horrible things. So i can one day show my children how this world really is.

WTF? It was like a ceremony of remembrance and also to leave it behind, and you want them to show the death of 2800 people on it? If one of your family members or someone close to you died and you had a videotape of it, would you bring a TV and show their death at the one year anniversary?

To me, it isn't about people dying anymore. It just feels like the whole thing is to make me a patriot to support whatever the government wants to do, and to hate muslims. If my girlfriend died in that, I would be sad, but then I would be more pissed off at the way the goddamned media and all handled the whole thing. Fuck them, I am with Trog.

I'm damn annoyed that I had no television but the news for a week. After the first day, most of the news was just repeating over and over again what a horrible tragedy it was, just after consulting their thesaurus a few hundred thousand times, so it wouldn't sound like the exact same thing they said 5 minutes ago.
And I'm also annoyed that they didn't show footage of people plummeting to their deaths after jumping out of the tower. That would have just enraged us more to go after these fucks quicker. I don't know why we waited a month to kick some ass.

we didnt go after them cause its politics, its the way america works. networks act the way the majority of people expect them to act. if you made the decisions for the broadcasting, your ass would have been gang raped by a shit load of people. i dont like the repeatitiveness either, but if its what sells and i was incharge i would have done it. i agree with all the replys, but you have to understand why things were presented they way they were.
the only point of the media is the commercials. the rest is bullshit.

I'd like to point out that in Ireland, except when they were showing the ceremony, they never hesitated in showing the people jump out of the buildings.

No.. I dont want to hear about the people that died. Thats apart of watching it. All they did was focus on how great everyone was. Thats for the families to do. thats personal shit. I even heard many of the firefighters pulled back. I would have. Fuck being a hero when you hear the floors are caving in.

And I do want to see total unedited videos. No fucking naration. No fancy music, no sound FX just pure video tape footage. i bet you anything i might even pick up on something that no one else has. people get this footage and they run it straight to the media or they keep it in their own personal archive and forget all about it. keep watching footage and maybe an al queda member/members are hanging around in the crowed or you might see emotions of some people laughing or perhaps a boat full of taliban on the hudson watching the events. it might be more deeply involved. What i meant by no more 9/11 was I didnt want to hear about how great Joe Shmoe was. for all i know he was a fucking pediphile.

People didn't care about being patriotic before Sept 11th. It's a war rally being called by george w. bush to help encourage support in his own attacks on Iraq.
Our sanctions on Iraq have left hundreds of thousands of men women and children, all innocent dead. It is because of their leader that this happens, not of anything they do. Saddam Hussein calls for the making of biological and chemical bombs and his citizens feel the grasp of the iron fist around their necks. He doesn't care about his people or the our iron fist because he is not in its reach, thats why the U.S. strikes his people down instead with spite. He has been in power for over 20 years and his family for more, he is surely the most feared leader in the world and im quiet certain that he is not revered. Why do we need to attack Iraq and make the people suffer? Kill Saddam and end it.
