i took a spanish placement teest which put me in year 2 spanish. it must have been a fluke, cus i never paid attention is spanish class so i dont know shit.
so i tell that to the guy in charge and he wont let me switch to year 1 spanish. i cant believe this bullshit.

I love college to be fair i have so many friends and my course is exactly what i am looking for. Sorry to rub the saltin the wounds but i thought i should say college has its good points.

dom it should be obvious, they want your cash. "sure we got some good classes for you, just give us your money". thats all it is really. they know some students are going to get screwed based on class size and you happen to be one of them.

standarized tests are a terrible way to judge what classes you get. if you have 15 hours or more you can still drop a class and be full time and live in your dorm and keep all your shit. im sure your parents wouldnt be happy with this though, i know mine werent. try talking to the dean of the department, and if nothing can be done ask for a tudor. maybe youll even find out that the class isnt so bad and get a decent grade. you just started man, you got a long way to go. once you get farther along it will get much easier to get the classes you want and the timeslots you want. freshman year is always a bitch, try not to be like me and have to do it twice.
