If (and most likely when) we attack Iraq by Janurary/Februray 2003,Suddam knows his life is over. Weather it means Jail for the rest of his life or an execution or a sniper takes him out, he knows his life is over. What does he have to lose. He claims he is a martre for islam. He doesnt have to be sucidal to know that if he is going to die that he is going to kill as many of his enemies as he can.

But the bottom line is Bush knows Suddam and others like him possess weapons of mass destruction but doesnt want to admit this. So he is going with "Trying to possess weapons of mass destruction" so its easier for americans to digest.
