The fine line between genius and madness

For those interested
at 22:00 UT today (the 12th) there will be a meteor shower. That's about 6:00 in the afternoon eastern, 2:00 in the afternoon for those in Cali. So of course you can't see them.
But don't lose heart, at 8:00 UT on the 13th it will happen again. Again, that's about 4:00 am eastern, midninght in califonia where so many of you reside.
Just remember, though it is called a meteor 'shower' many of you still need to use the one indoors to prevent offending the opposite sex.
(corrected wrong times)

Re: For those interested
In britian we had one a few years back i saw nothing. That was about it though but it was still cool to think that something had happened above my head than just a plane flying over.

Re: For those interested
It was probably cloudy. You can't see shit if there is even the slightest haze.

Re: For those interested
6 PM isn't dark enough... I'll have to stay up till 4 AM tomorrow (or tonight I guess) to see it. Hm... I should get me some binoculars. Maybe I'll get a picture of it. All I need now is something to do till 4 AM.

Re: For those interested
In the north of Sweden there are not meteor showers, but single meteors falling all the time. And northern light too, its really cool.
