Re: totse server?
*rubs temples*
I see a garage. Inside this garage I see a box. A large metal box with many wires coming out of the back. Some of these wires conect to a computer.
I lost my psychic vision, does anyone know the meaning of what I saw?

Re: totse server?
They were out of date, even for then. Most of the nodes were running on 386s. It was a wall of monitors and cases, wires and cables. Very cool.

Well its on a server somewhere. Im guessing a bunch of server towers in a warehouse or office somewhere. Enigma just builds this site from his home computer so he no longer needs to sacrifice his garage or spare bedroom anymore like he did with his dialup.

Re: totse server?
Actually, I missed this post the first time around. Thanks FuckAuthority, I hadn't seen those pics in ages.
El Observador took those at a big sushi feed we had with about 20 people from NIRVANAnet(tm) circa 1996 or 1997. The map on the wall shows all of the NIRVANAnet(tm) nodes across the US and Canada and the network routes between them. The collection of computers and monitors were an assortment of donated and junked PCs which were too slow to run the latest Windows apps but made great BBS machines.
Heck, I still have some of those machines. I know that the blue one is out in my garage with an old version of Linux loaded on it.
