If someone were to use the Euro tunnel to transport something to France they easily could put a large explosive device in one of the crates, which they could detonate when the train was half way, and destroy the tunnel. I think an organised group could do this relatively easily with the right knowledge. All that would be needed is knowledge of explosives and a stolen company identity, nothing a couple of clever people could not do.

The Asylum problem would have to be addressed before they rebuild the tunnel. The British economy would suffer but only for a short time. And casualties caused by the explosion would not be that high. Even if the tunnel was relatively undamaged security would be stepped up because of the possibility of other attacks this would stop further people illegally entering Britain.

If they do decide to do something like that, which is of course very possible, that's a very good, plan, but finding something larger would be good. Oh well, good plan, just need a group to carry it out. Are you thinking about it or what? Why this all of a sudden plan?
