Default Re: Hackers

he's not talking about hacking at all, he is talking about cracking.
cracking is usually disabling the security on a demo or trial peice of software, it will make the software think that it has been registered.
hacking is getting access to a computer or part of a computer that is not meant to be got at.

cracking a peice of software requires de-compilers and reverse engineering, while hacking requires things like social engineering, backdoors, exploits,(maybe) trashing and brute force. cracking is fairly methodical, and usually takes little skill to do, but hacking requires complete knowledge as the systems are always configured diffrently with diffrent loopholes.

so, telnet does not come into cracking a peice of software (at least not through any method i know) as it is all done locally.

oops...sorry I thought he was talking about REAL hacking but ummmmm........ its like impossible to de-compile something you have to hack it in Hex or reg but a real easy way to disable trail stuff is 1. turn your comptuer clock back 2. reinstall it 3. log on your computer with a diff user. these are just the simple noob ways but ummmmm....... http://astalavista.box.sk/ you can dl most cracks or anything
