Re: Doctor-assisted suicides
first off it cost too much y not just slit ur wrist. second if suicide is illegal (it is illegal even though u cant be tried for it) then doctor assisted suicides should be illegal too. thats not really my opinion but thats y i think most people dont like it. i dont really care. its ur life

Re: Doctor-assisted suicides
i dont see a moral or legal problem in it. personaly i would never do that. i would like to die naturally. although if would have to fight in a armed conflict i would fight to the death or kill myself before i would allow myself to be captured. overall i dont think suicide is an option for me unless under some very extreem conditions where my death would be for the greater good.

Re: Doctor-assisted suicides
A thing is not right because it is lawful. The only arguements that can be made against a person in terminal pain from terminating their existance are religious, as we exist in a state governed by the principle of the seperation of church and state these arguements are invalid. The thing that makes life worth living is the ability to chose ones path, and this principle must be observed except wher is conflicts with the rights of others.

Re: Doctor-assisted suicides
I agree with an assisted suicide in certain cases. If I had some type of cancer that can not be removed or became a parapelegic and could not move except my mouth then yes euthanasia would be one of the options which I would like to have. As long as a doctor or two doctors both agreed that there would be no chance of me recovering using todays medical technology. The person must have some type of uncureable discease and prolonging life would only make them suffer more and not some guy who simply cant handle life and only wants to end it and doesnt have the balls to do him self in himself.

Re: Doctor-assisted suicides
No, I live in Montana which is number two in the United States of suicides in the ages sixteen through twentyfour and Nevada is in first. Last thing we need is to have more suicides in America. My school even went to low ass bottoms to make money by selling "Happy Grams" which costed ten cents. Thus trying to make suicideal people happy in some fucked way.At the end we all chose one person and sent then sent that person ninety of these "Happy Grams" the point im going to is that do we really want to contribute to school funding or to crooked ass doctors cause if we went with this Doctor-Assisted Suicide plan thats exactly what would be happining. Matt
