shit, i'm writing a little ...not quite a book more like a phamplet but anyway i have a vocabulary question

does anybody know the german word for "shameful joy" being happy at somebodys else misfortune? ...like laughing when an old lady falls down. if you speak german you will know but a well read person could also know it, as authors are known to use the phrase from time to time.

I used to know but it has compleatly slipped my mind.
