I think there were raves but we called them "In House" back in the mid to late 80s. The term rave came later. But techno Music has been around for decades. Kraftworks came out in 1967 i think and in the 1970s electronico was the creation of Disco. but yah, its still pretty prophetic of her to make that statement. I wonder what she thinks now. Someone should contact her.

BTW.. where did you get that quote from since its 12 years old?

i first heard it as someones .sig on Usenet.
