There's been a plauge of idiocy rampant on this board recently, mostly to do with people associating class and race. Poor=Black Rich=White etc.. etc..

When you claim to hate whites because they have all the money, you don't hate whites, you hate rich people. When you claim to hate blacks because they're living off our tax dollars on welfare and other public assistance, you don't hate blacks, you hate poor people.

It's that fucking simple, but you don't seem to get it. You've been brainwashed by a country that requires us to view things not in terms of class but in terms of race. Because race has nothing to do with a group of people, short of their genetic makeup. You have rich and poor people of all races, and so long as that remains so, the chance of any sort of revolution or major change in this country is slim.


If everyone was to suddenly realize that it was class, not race, that seperated people, we'd have an amazing class war on our hands, and our society would be completely disrupted, for better or worse I honestly can't say.

I guess the point is, that you just have to fucking think about it. Realize that the power structure in this country WANTS you to classify people by race WANTS you to hate people of different colors and WANTS you to associate with others based on similar genetic backgrounds. And as long as you do that, you have no power, because you're little more then another helpless puppet with no grasp on reality and living in the mindstate that has been pre-fabricated especially to keep you down.

I wouldn't suggest segregating by class either because as history suggests (the French Revolution) it is a bloody waste of life and it will only result in a new ruling class.

You cannot abolish the ruling class - if it is truly them you hate, become one. You will not hate them anymore.

I personally am US lower middle class. I am not rich, in fact, I lie just above poor. I love hanging out with rich people. I hate their ideals, but I love walking in with my $10.00 suit and my $4.00 cane and $15.00 top hat and acting all stuck up. Its a blast

Anyway, my point is, the system cannot be defeated. Look at Russia, France, South Africa, THE US! You have to just find a place in it for yourself and enjoy it while it lasts. Life isn't long enough to fight. Forget ALL your damn prejudices and get a life.

This is a point that several people have been trying to slam into everyone else's heads lately. Go read Jaded's post again if you don't get it, and if you still don't get it, keep reading it until you do.

It's gotten into basic fucking vocabulary. I can't count how many times I've fumed at some friend of mine because they said "fuckin nigger" or "fuckin black drivers" whenever someone crosses the street in front of them with seeming total disregard for traffic, cuts them off, or whatever. How many of you can say you've heard the same, maybe said the same? Probably a lot.

These are not hateful people I'm talking about. Hell, most of them are more than happy to associate with anyone of another race who's cool. That's the most frustrating part, that they're "generally" open-minded, but those lines are still drawn. Yes, it goes both ways. I'm at a point where I'll treat everyone the same, but not be sure if that black guy or that Hispanic chick will do the same to me because they're under the same bullshit spell.

People talk about breaking down barriers, but then they have a bad experience with someone different, and they turn into their ignorance as quickly as those before them. Get a grip! The only barriers you can break down are those in your own mind. If everyone else keeps theirs up, hey, they're the ones fucking up, not you. It doesn't mean you should go and be foolish like them.

That is what I meant by you missing the point. Too many times people have posted a very relevant topic, and 3 responses later it has morphed into a discussion about something else.
As for you saying the system cannot be defeated. I say why not? The reason why things are the way they are is because people are lazy. Unless something directly affects them, people tend to do nothing. If you show people what's going on and give them awareness, maybe things can change. But it takes effort from everyone.

Now getting back to what Jaded said. Race does not equate class.
Class is something that is engrained into all of us beginning with school. Kids are segregated into cliques based on how their parents dress them, their shoes, how big of a house they live in. Basically on their parents status in society.
Race is nothing more than the labeling of people because of their physical characteristics.
Society as a whole tells us that race and class are the same. This is our feeble attempt at categorizing individuals, and society tends to do it using stereotypes and bias.
Be aware and educate yourself. Question the reasons why we have the rules that we do.
And like Jaded said don't be a pawn.
